There was an article in my local paper today (Springfield Mass Republican) in the Sports Section saying how the third law suit about Reggie's death ended yesterday.
Reggie's the only basketball poster I still have hanging in my room since childhood!

as well it should be.
i think his wife should just let it go. its been 10 years now. she should move on and let herself be at ease. she'll appreciate life again as well as the memories of reggie.

It said in there that she should be grateful that he was a good husband which he was. Oh it makes me sad of what a great player he could have been. Well he was great...he could have been great throughout the 90s and maybe even until now?

all i know for sure is that he was getting better and better before he died. we can only guess what level of play he would have reached.
btw, you have any good stories involving reggie lewis in your life?

hmmm....kinda...
i mailed all my favorite players around that time begging for their autographs..i didn't know any better i was like 10...any way i got dee browns and reggie lewis' in the mail like 2 months before he passed away.

i did that with the baltimore oriole players. the organization sent me a bunch of colored action photos of their current players and even had signatures on them (copied of course).
i got cal ripken's photo and i was happy.

ok whose the player most like reggie in this draft??? i don't think there's anyone who resembles reggie in this draft. reggie was a unique player. you'll have a hard time finding any player, past or present, who resembles reggie and his awkwardness and clumsiness with grace. |
