I wish everyone everywhere a happy Thanksgiving too. Except the Turkeys. Sorry turkeys. Everyone has to make sacrifices. But look on the bright side turkeys. If the Hindus and Sihks are right you might get reincarnated as an American and get to eat lots of turkey on Thanksgiving some day!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone too.
So what do you guys normally eat for this festivities? I ask because here in Hawaii, with such a mix of different cultures, we have so many different traditional foods. Not just turkey, stuffing, and the usual stuff, but also lots of japanese and chinese dishes too.

We had turkey and stuffing, ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, jello salad, oriental cold slaw, green beans, corn, pumpkin bread, homemade rolls, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, chocolate cake. I've started the baking yesterday and was back up again at 5:30 this morning to get the turkey, ham and rolls started. Right now I am very full and very tired.
But I made time to get the links up this morning and to check in with my Celtics family :-)

And this is why nobody disputes that in a fight she can take all of us.
I don't think my family does much exotic. In terms of the traditional side dishes I think maybe the most unusual thing would be boiled onions and apparently one year my grandpa thought it was weird we had peas.
My wife has gotten into cooking and decided to make a chocolate kalua cake this year.
