Ray is getting outplayed by Wally in every facet of the game. If we can hold on and win this one with Ray MIA and Pierce with 4, I don't see how Cleveland can win either. This is their one chance to steal one in our house.
Let's finsh it! Go C's!

What an ugly game. No one deserves to win, but if Cleveland does, it will be a sad day.

sigh...When will our team grow some balls in crunch time..KG shys away from the ball and basket when it matters most and tonight Pierce or Ray are off completely...We really can't close tight games, tho we should be blowing the cavs out right now...

It was ugly, but a needed win in a close game. KG coming through at the end was poetic justice.
Now Ray needs to rest up so he can hit some shots Friday. A great grind it out win.

Nice effort by Perkins as well -- 12 rebounds and 2 blocks. I thought he defended well on LeBron's last shot as well. He and Rondo have really stepped up for us in the playoffs, which is nice given that they were our designated "question marks" when the year began.

How big is that Posey signing now? Cleveland made him an offer along with New Jersey. I am glad he signed with Boston because he came up big in this one on both ends.
And, Perk has been huge in these past two games. And I have a feeling he is only going to get better.
This was one of the ugliest games I have seen in a long time. But, I'll take the win, ugly or not.
Next game should be different as Pierce, Ray and LBJ won't all have two bad games in a row. Pierce will still spend a lot of energy on defense, but I think he will play better than in this one. Ray has to play better as he couldn't play much worse. You know LBJ will come back with a vengeance. We just have to be ready.
Rondo was playing incredibly well and I didn't get Doc's decision to keep Sam in there so long in the 4th. It's funny that Doc puts Sam in for offense but the entire offense stops except for Sam's shots. I would rather have Eddie House in there because at least he runs the offense and tries to find the open man rather than shooting every time down. Last night I was thinking that Sam was the reincarnation of Antoine Walker.
Ilgauskas is a dirty player. Twice I saw him purposely go at Perk's nose. Then, when Sam was on the floor, he gave him that extra kick. If it wasn't for Perk wrapping Sam up when he wanted to go after him, Sam probably would have been ejected. But there was no excuse for Ilgauskas doing that and definitely no excuse for trying to hit a player in the nose when you know that it is sore to begin with.
LBJ is a prima donna. You touch him and he falls down and checks his mouth. That act is getting old.
