Enough of this crying and whining about how long it took for us to beat the hawks, the bottom line is we need to focus our attention on the cavs. Here is what i hope will happen and some of the things that cost us against the hawks.
1. We can't focus ALL of our attention on Lebron james. I think we showed Joe Johnson to much respect last series. You can't double a guy once he crosses halfcourt, because then your left playing 4-3 basketball and you start giving up wide open looks. We have no one who can stop james. We have to concede lebron james and cut off everyone else. Gibson, West , Wally, and whomever else they have spotting up on the 3-pt line can't be given wide open looks. These are NBA players, they willl hit shots if left open.
Also doubling Lebron leaves you vulnerable to giving up offensive rebounds and cheap baskets. The cavs are the top offensive rebounding team in the league. Let lebron get his and keep the role players in check, that's how we'll win the series.
go celtics!!!!!

Very good points, tho I think we need to make sure we show a double team on LeBron, so he doesnt drive at will. Usually one guy cant make a team win, but I think LeBron has done so in the past so we dont want to give him a free lane to drive. However, I agree that we must only threaten a double and maybe choose when and when not to double, but make sure (as we usually do) that the help is ready to rotate and be ready for the perimeter shooters spotting up. In this series, moreso than the Hawks, rebounding and cutting off second chance baskets, but getting second chance baskets on our end, will be key!
