Tonight; both the queries and the explanations, as we ponder whether the Celtics can join San Antonio, to win two at home and go to the enemy arena for a game 3 victory.
What will it take to march through Georgia without a blemish?
Doc River's well reported entreaties have been to cut down on the needless fouls and over reliance on jump shots.
Musty Celtic from the Yahoo message board adds:
Scott Souza has an interesting take on what it takes to beat the Celtics this season in his column from today’s Metro West .
Will that work, or are the Hawk's hopes bonded to their attempt at intimidation, or worse, inflicting bodily harm?
From this observer's perspective, that's not likely to be successful, although luckily it was "Mr. Rubber Body," Pierce, who took the most damaging hit.
The Celtics are a very tough bunch and have plenty of depth in the muscle department. I have a lasting impression of Glen "Big Baby" Davis bouncing people around, with that "come on...come get me" look on his face, in the second half of Wednesday's game.
How ever the Hawks think they can turn this series around; Justin, JB and Jon will be ready to share the agony and/or the ecstasy.
We hope you will join us.

You're playing now, on THEIR home court. An "inelegant" time to go
away from : playing it ONE possession at a time. You've got FEW
"friends" in the enemy-house. Value the possession...get
rebounds...Take good shots, moving to get them.

....if you want to look deep to find one fear the team might have, it's the fear of the unknown. Whenever the Celtics have stumbled, it has typically been against teams that presented them with either something they haven't seen before or played a style so random they couldn't prepare for it...Heading into tonight's Game 3 at Atlanta (ESPN, CSN, 8), the Hawks' best hopes for an upset - already down 2-0 in the best-of-seven series - might be tossing caution out the window and relying strictly on athleticism and youthful abandon.
