portland did alright with this deal. getting ratliff was the deal breaker imo. SAR and wallace even each other out. but ratliff for person is an upgrade for the blazers.

How is this possible? Didn't Person just got traded to the Blazers? Isn't there a rule that they have to wait a period to trade him again?

Two month minimum for retrading a player.
Atlanta will get over 20 million dollars of cap space to play with. Trouble is they will not attract free agents.
They might be able to bother Orlando into trading T-Mac though.

McDyess will probably sign with the hawks if anyone will out of the top free agents but thats it. Wallace will walk. Phoenix's cap situation isn't that good and attractive as it is for free agents but atlantas is 5 times worse. Will they snag Q-Rich from the clippers whos used to playing on losing teams? maybe. I see him in Phoenix too.
And who could they trade for T-mac? Sign whoever their gonna sign and then trade him along with Terry for him?
