i know that the trend this past decade has gone from mini shorts in the '80 to baggy pants. Baggy pants are supposed to be cool, they sure look more masculin than those eighties "hotpants". But things have gone out of control, to a point that it no longer looks cool but plain ridiculeous. The culmination point of this trend are the Sacramento Kings. I saw them play twice last week & boy, doesn't Webber look stupid in those "shorts". First of all, the kings shorts go over the knees, that isn't even practical. But the most annoying thing is the width of their "shorts". Webber is walking around as if he's wearing a skirt! He must have gone on a holiday to Schotland. Those pants seem to have a life on there own. This is no longer cool, unless they can play the bagpipes, back to the mid-nineties shorts! I know, stupid subject, but i felt like sharing my rambling

no, i agree with you. i'm tired of this overly massive basketball shorts which are practically falling off of players' hips. it makes short players look shorter (see marcus banks and jameer nelson).
the john stockton's are too short and the look now is just too baggy. i think the length in the mid to late 90's were the best.
where will they go from here?
