http://www.draftdaily.com:
Boston Celtics--
Picks:
Gerald Green- 18
Ryan Gomes- 50
Orien Greene- 53
Grade: A-
Analysis: The Boston Celtics picked up a great steal in Gerald Green at 18. He’s going to be a star in this league for years to come. He could eventually start over Ricky Davis or if the Celtics trade Paul Pierce, he can play there too. Greene should work at the point guard spot very well. Supposedly, he had a really good workout with them and now he has a chance to prove it behind Gary Payton. Gomes is a guy who should have gone first round, although I like Sean Banks a lot more. It’s probably the only thing that’s stopping Boston from getting an A+. Banks just seems like the better power forward even though Gomes could be really good too

I havent found a site yet that hasn't given us high marks on our draft. Basically A's all across the board. I'm glad we didnt settle for a particular position, and just picked the best players on the board at the time. Very solid 2 years in a row. The best line i saw was from tony mejia from CBS sportsline after the draft.
The celtics must be giddly laughing at other teams while studs continue to fall in their laps. tony mejia.
The thing i like about the last 2 drafts, as well as the organization is everyone seems to be on the same page. Ownership, GM, and coach. They have a plan, and were getting the players who can execute, and carry out the plan. Their's something to be said for structure in the front office. Keep up the good work danny.
go celtics!!!!!!!!

I think everyone just trusts in what Ainge see's. Notice how no one is saying anything about Ainge's so called "vision" anymore. After trading away Walker and losing his head coach, many were mocking Ainge and criticizing his direction. His "vision" was a laughing stock around the league.
Well, with each passing draft, our talent level is increased twofold and our future gets brighter.

Most critics of Ainge chastized him because he traded Walker, dumped a few more Celtics (Williams, Battie, etc), and forced OB to fold early. All because they thought of the team in the short-run, not the long-run like Danny. Now, 20-20, Danny is a genius.

So true RR. I was a backer of DA from the start but never thought he make a mark so quick. His draft picks have been so solid (2005 draft - yet to be seen). Perk and AJ have me thinking good things are on the way. Gotta have the 'bigs'.
Danny played for passing teams that made it all work out. He also went through the minors, in pro baseball, to make the MLB team. I believe this gave him a different view of talent and how to read a players ability to handle adversity. I look forward to DA finding ways to use the NBDL.

If these young players work in harmony and become a dynasty, Ainge will be this generation's Red Auerbach. He'll be our version of the mastermind who orchestrated the "next" Celtics dynasty. Red's time has passed. Now, its Ainge's turn to start puffing the cigar.

I am wondering if Danny smokes the " ", since it is the '2000s, will it be the blunt? ;D
In Danny, I trust.

that last analysis---with Green backing up Payton----is a little retarded. Yes, that's what I thought. On his comment about Banks being the better PF, he ain't even a PF, he's a SF.

Danny will probably smoke cigarillos with the plastic tips. Anyways, at first, I questioned his moves. Ricky for Eric Williams looked so bad. I was so upset when I heard that. Walker for Raef, eh I forget how I felt. Not really bad I don't think.
