Happy Birthday DErren in advance. Don't let some crazy girl steal your heart in your early 30's like I did and waste your entire early 30's on some stupid girl. Just my advice. It was a lesson learned for me that I hope everyone will learn from. Just kidding. I still have my heart and I'm still hopeless but don't be stupid like me. It's around that time I started thinking marriage and serious about relationships and that can screw you if it isn't with the right person.

Thanks everyone, really appreciate it. WEll, still hoping to find a woman who will be my future wife, but I'm putting all my hopes in the Lord's hands. What better hands to place my hopes in than the One who created us all and knows each of us better than we know our own selves.
Yes, I turn 31 this month. Sometimes its hard to believe that I'm already in my 30's. Its weird in a way because people don't really consider you fully an adult, even in your 20's and 30's--not until you get married and have a family do they really consider you an "adult".

In the 1950s a low budget film won best picture called Marty. It addresses your concern. It was sort of about "settling" and dealing with reality. It was really good. I say go get it from the library. I agree with you about your adult point but I don't think I moved up the chain too much by having a kid. I almost feel like I moved down |
