Who do you want to take at 18?
And I don't want to hear, "well it depends on who's there".
I just want to hear who you absolutely hope will be there at 18 because he's the one you really want to take.
And no wise guy answers either--no Bogut or Marvin Williams, or any other of the consensus top picks like Gerald Green or Chris Paul, etc.

With the 18th selection, C17 takes = Danica Patrick I think I'm in like... I doubt she slips to 50.

I'll say Ukic or Alexandrov like meltin. There really isn't anyone I truely want in this draft. Danica Patrick would be nice though.

I would have to say Blatche also. I think another young strong atheletic 7 footer who can play D and rebound is harder to find than a sg swing man or small forward.

I have finally made up my mind... if draft goes pretty much like expected and it comes down to Ukic or Jack I WANT JACK... hes just more proven... i would hate to have to wait on Ukic even if he sounds better... IF we are gonna go PG at 18 and we dont trade up i deffinitely want Jack.

Jack does have a bit of Chauncy in him. But he plays at a faster pace than Billups. But like Billups, he has excellent size for a PG, strong (not as strong, mind you), excellent dribbler, and a shooter/scorer. I certainly won't mind getting Jack.
But if I'm comparing Ukic to Jack, I'd honestly say that I'm leaning toward Ukic. I'm really trying not to get excited over a player I've never seen before because all I'm basing my opinion on is scouting reports on the kid. But boy, from what I'm reading, and the few pictures I've seen of him, Ukic seems to be a gem.

As for my pick, I know I'm breaking my rule, but I want Roko Leni-Ukic to be there at 18. I told myself tht I wouldn't get caught in hyping up a kid I've never seen before, but I really am liking what I'm reading about the kid.
I also like Chris Taft and he'd be a fabulous pick at 18. But I'm leaning toward Ukic because he's a PG and I want to pair up a PG with Al Jefferson because I strongly believe that's the way to build a dynasty's foundation.

I think my big men would be Diogo and Taft. My PGs would be Ukic and Sarunus, my everyone else would be Martell Webster (that could almost happen if we got lucky) Alexandrov, Martynas Andrukevicus, Sean May and that's about it. There are several others I wouldn't be crying over.

Jack I think can be good. I see Billups in him perhaps. If he come shere, Banks is definitely going. That much I do know. Jack will be better than Banks I think. Not as many deficiencies in his game. Jack can be better than Bobby Jackson I think too. From what I heard, Jack can run an offense unlike a Banks or a Bobby Jackson. Im kinda torn between Roku and Jack. I'd probably want Roku though. Tough call to make. If its possible, maybe Danny can move Banks for a pick to get Jack this way he keeps his 18th so he can grab them both.

In a 1 pick draft @18, Charlie Villanueva, aka
Charlie V
#18 is not about drafting a guaranteed player, it is about taking a gamble w/ a player that has tremendous upside (will Hubie Brown or John Thompson be covering the draft)? Upside. Charlie V has it.
For my "sleeper" pick, I will be dreaming of Jenny Adams - track & field babe. ;D
