Its only 2 weeks away, but as of right now, no Celtics fan can say with any kind of seriousness whom they think Ainge will take at 18. Anyone's guess is as good as anyone else's.
This time last year, we sort of knew who Ainge was targeting. Robert Swift and Big Al Jefferson were guys we've been hearing, even names such as Sebastian Telfair and european players such as Sergei Monya were being tossed around. And last year, Ainge was trying out tons of players, giving tons of players workouts, some of them twice or thrice.
This year, Ainge is playing his cards in a totally new way and no one is even remotely close to predicting who he really wants. We've heard that he wants to move up to possibly get Chris Paul, but that's about it. He's not working out many players in our practice facility in Waltham.
The suspense is killing me.
