Not fair for him, after all the things that went wrong with the team this season. But nonetheless, Dave Wannstedt is no longer the head coach of the Dolphins.
Now, if we can continue losing the rest of the season and get ourselves the top pick and get a kick butt QB ........... ;D

I came here as soon as I heard on the radio. I hear Spurrier is one of the top candidates to be the new coach. Not sure if he will do better here than in Washington, but at least we're turning a new chapter and re-starting.

The last thing we need is a revolving door at the head coaching spot. We need to hire a coach who's going to be here for the next 5 - 7 years, hopefully a lot longer. Spurrier? Wasn't happy with the way he handled things in WAS. Jimmy Johnson? Hey, I wouldn't mind JJ again ;D

Another rumor is Saban as coach and Pioli as GM. I think I would like that combo, or Pioli with the OC from the Patriots.

GM next? Or should he have been first?

I've heard many good things about him. In fact I read an article a few weeks ago in either the boston globe or herald's website speculating that Miami may end up hiring not only Weis as head coach but New England's GM Pioli as our GM. That would be sweet, as they have been directly involved in making the Patriots the consistently good team they have become. I'm sure they would start by bringing in a quarterback who can actually make plays.

Could we actually pry those two away from NE? I mean, they are going to be leaving a heck of a team.
How does Charlie Weis compare to Norv Turner?

Let's not forget the O-line. If we don't get some help there, no QB stands a chance. I'm just glad to see Wannstedt gone to start things off. Dave would still make a great Def Coordinator, he would have been better off never becoming a Head Coach, IMO...
