Its not as bad as you think. Well, I can't really comment on NYC. I've only been to upstate NY. Cooperstown to be exac, for the Baseball Hall of Fame. But the people I've spoke to, some who have grown up in NYC, said that outsiders need to be careful. I wanted to visit Yankee Stadium and my old boss tells me that I should catch a taxi cab from the stadium back to the hotel, as opposed to walking around and looking for a taxi cab because that's right in the Bronx.

I wasnt in the bronx. I was in manhattan. Thats why I was safer. I had an egyptian cab driver and man was he psychotic. He was singing egyptian songs while being a nut. He was driving like a maniac so I asked him, "What if you killed somebody?" he said "It dont matter, I kill you" Walk in the street, I kill you."
