What the hell is with these type movies? Since that stupid thing came out, I always wondered what the hell it was about. They have a 2nd one already, thats odd. Its probably some stupid pulp fiction type movie that you can't figure out. Uma Thurman is a frikken dog too.

The movies pay homage to a number of different movie genre's, like spaghetti westerns, samurai, and manga.
I personally dont care for either of those genres, so i didnt care for Kill Bill Vol 1.
Not like Pulp Fiction at all. Pulp Fiction is a WONDERFUL movie, same with Resevoir Dogs.

Kill Bill was probably such a bomb that they had to make a 2nd one right away.

Actually, both movies have been huge hits with both movie goers AND critics. The reason there are two movies is because as one large production, the original movie was too long, so they split it up. So, instead of netting $8 for each consumer, they net $16. Pretty smart move id say.

HellBoy is decent, by no means a thinking mans action movie. It was a little too cartoonish for my liking. I certainly would suggest The Punisher over HellBoy.
About Kill Bill. It all depends if you like the old genre films like spag. westerns, samurai, and manga/anime. If not, your going to be in for some crappy special effects, and poor dialouge. Whereas if you liked those genre's, you would think that the Special Effects were great, and that the script was amazing.
I personally dont care for those genres, so i didnt enjoy Kill Bill at all, and will not see Kill Bill 2

i've still not seen the 3 segment of matrix yet. from what i've been hearing, its a lot better than part 2, which i really didn't care for at all. part 1 has been my favorite so far, but i'm hoping part 3 will redeem itself for part 2.

Godsend and stuck with you ought to be great new releases. The new one with ben stiller and jack black too.
So everyones saying that Kill Bill 1 was so long that the 2nd one is part 2 of the 1st one? So when they both are out on video, that means the same movie will be on 2 tapes listed as part 1 and 2.

I liked both. Although they are definately not your standard fair. Probably why I liked them. And they were both huge successes at the B.O. surprisingly.. I wouldnt expect them to be.
