I disagree. I think Darko will one day be a big time player. I don't know if he'll ever become a top Big in the league, but I can see him at least being in Ilgauskas' terrain.
As for Nemanja, I like what I'm reading, but I have yet to see him play. So yes, I'm intrigued with him, but I have no argument to back up my feelings for him because I really don't know how he plays. Maybe if I see him, I wouldn't care for him. Who knows. But as far as the european talent is concerned, overall, the gap between the US and the international skill set is starting to close. The generation that witnessed the original Dream Team was a world away from giving the US any competition. But as the newer generation emerged, so has their skill sets and their confidence and they've been watching Amercian basketball a lot more than in years past. They started idolizing Kevin Garnett, Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson, and guys like Peja Stojakovic, Dirk Nowitzki, Manu Ginobli, Dino Radja (;D), and Tony Parker gave them even more hope that they can one day compete with us. Many people are saying that the international buzz is just a hype, but its turning out to be more than just that.
