Keys to the GamePlay 48 minutes The Celtics need to come out strong to begin the game. It is difficult to come back from a deficit on the road and the Celtics should try to get off to a fast start to avoid this. Regardless of who plays and who sits, they have to come out with the mindset to dominate. Also, in their last 3 games, the Bucks have averaged 32 points in the 4th quarter while holding opponents to only 24 so the Celtics will need to play all 48 minutes and not let up. Defense The Celtics need to keep up their defensive intensity whether it is the starters or the bench on the court. The bench came up big against the Bobcats and need to do so again in this game. Hustle The Celtics need to prove that they want this game more by hustling for loose balls and rebounds. There is nothing left to prove or accomplish this season other than playing for pride and momentum going into the playoffs. The Bucks have outrebounded their opponents in 6 of their last 7 games and the Celtics need to hustle or they will allow the Bucks to beat them with 2nd chance points. Game Notes The Celtics have won both matches against the Bucks this season. The last game was the start of the trip through the Texas Triangle and the Celtics won it 99-77, but Desmond Mason and Mo Williams were both out. The Bucks are 19-19 at home so winning there isn't a sure thing. They are 3-7 in their last 10 games. This is a meaningless game for the Celtics as they have already clinched home court and have nothing left to prove. But, I see them having too much pride to just mail it in. I expect at least one of the 3 stars to play in this game. Regardless of who plays, I expect them to play hard and go for the win. |

KG, Pierce and Ray will play tonight. Doc was planning on sitting them again but the team went out to dinner last night and they convinced Doc to let them play tonight. Sam probably won't play because of a sore back so we may get to see some Gabe Pruitt. We have the Bucks feed. UGH.

Bucks win the tip. Vilanueva misses and Celtics rebound. PP misses a straight away 3. Bogut rebounds. Celtics with a steal and Ray finds Rondo for a layup. Bucks hit a jumper. KG takes it to the hoop and is fouled by Villanueva. KG hits both FTs. Perk with pressure in the back court on the inbound pass. Celtics with another steal. PP hits a jumper. Villamueva misses and Celtics rebound. Mason knocks it away from KG. Villanueva misses and Bogut tips it in but they call basket interference. No basket. KG hits a jumper. Bucks miss KG rebounds. PP hits a jumper in the paint. Bucks miss Perk rebounds. KG hits a jumper over the defender. Time out with Celtics up 12-2 and 8:10 left in the first. I really don't like these announcers. They aren't calling the game but chatting about everything under the sun except what is going on out on the court.

Bucks turn it over on the inbounds pass. KG is fouled as he misses a turn around jumper. Villanueva goes to the bench with 2 fouls. KG hits both FTs. Celtics almost steal it but Bucks recover. Sessions misses a jumper. KG rebounds. RA hits a 3. Mason hits a runner in the lane and is fouled by KG. He hits the FT. PP fakes a 3 and drives into the lane. He fakes a jumper and passes out to KG who hits an open jumper. Bucks fouled and hit 2 FTs. Not sure which player it was because the announcers are too busy talking about how the Celtics wouldn't win if KG went out. KG hits a jumper. Bucks with an airball. Rondo rebounds. Redd with a steal and Ruffin hits a jumper. RA misses a jumper and Perk battles 2 Bucks for the rebound. He comes away with it and kicks it out to PP who hits a 3. REdd hits a jumper. KG is fouled by Ruffin. KG hits the first and misses the second. Bucks rebound. Bucks miss and Perk rebounds. Rondo is fouled at the top of the arc. Celtics inbound on the side. Gadzuric comes in for Ruffin who has 2 fouls. RA misses a 3 from the corner. Bucks rebound. Redd misses but Bogut gets the rebound and put back. PP misses a 3. Sessions rebounds and Bogut lays it in. PP fumbles the ball and is called for a foul as he tries to recover it. Sessions hits a 3. RA misses a 3. Mason rebounds. Bogut is fouled as he drives to the hoop. Bogut hits both FTs. Powe is fouled as he gets the ball inside and goes up for the layup. Baby, Powe, Posey, RA and House on the court. Leon misses the first and hits the second. Bogut gets the ball inside and lays it in. Powe goes baseline and throws down a one handed dunk. RA with a steal and REdd fouls him. RA hits both FTs. RA called for a foul. Redd hits both FTs. Baby loses the ball out of bounds. Simmons hits a 3 from the corner. 15 point lead is down to 3. Bogut called for a foul on Powe. Powe hits both FTs. House with pressure in the back court. Sessions finds Bogut under the basket for a dunk. House misses a 3 at the buzzer. Score at the end of 1 is Bucks 32 and Celtics 29

Redd misses and Perk fights for the rebound and comes up with it. PP takes it to the hoop and lays it in. Mason misses and Perk rebounds. PP misses a 3. Perk rebounds. RA hits a jumper. Sessions takes it to the hoop and lays it in. PP drives into the lane and lays it down to Rondo for a layup. Bucks turn it over. PP called for an offensive foul as he forces his way into the lane.
