Hey every1 its a pleasure 2b able 2come 2u again, ESPECIALLY in the final stretch of a fantastic season . Hope every1s enjoyed it as much as I have. The haters have been out @my job and Im lovin every minute of i :Dt. I can't win either way, last yr I was a laughin stock 4wearin my Cs gear, THIS yr though Im a front runner From what Ive seen of this team this is how Id beat us and what I think we have 2improve upon. First I love how rondo's improved durin the season its really great 2c. BUT what concerns me most is his inability 2hit the open jumper w/any kind of consistency. He passes it up 2many times in the flow of the offense and if a slub like me notices, U know that the other teams are takin notice as well. 2ndly this team gives up 2many O-boards for the other team. I mean they have been winnin by double-digits a lot this yr so its not as noticeable durin the yr as it will probably be in the playoffs, mayb not in the early rds but DEFINITELY when we get in2 the later rds. Im not sayin that I think we won't go far in the playoffs, Im just sayin that these are things that we should wrk on improving if we want 2really be champs..

Hack a team. I mean, let Boston win from the free throw line. I think the team's weakness this season has been free throw shooting.

Hack a team. I mean, let Boston win from the free throw line. I think the team's weakness this season has been free throw shooting. But we're 8th in the league in FT% as well. I think an opposing team's only hope is that nobody remembers to bring a ball, so they have to decide the series by some other game than basketball.

Well I don't think it'll be as easy as u do Q&House . There's gonna be some bumps in the rd when we get in2 the 2nd round, the Conf finals & the finals I KNOW there'll be bumps in the rd. I mean we're probably gonna have 2play Det 2get 2the finals which'll be a great series. In addition 2the flaws Ic in our team that I mentioned in this post I was lookin 2c how we rank in the league in TOs. I saw that u found out team FT% House, where'd u find it? How do we rank in the league in TOs?

The Celtics are 5th in turnovers per game. Only Seattle, Sacramento, Memphis and Indiana are worse. Detroit, Toronto, New Orleans and San Antonio are the best at taking care of the ball.

Thanks FL!!! UGH!!! Look @those teams we're bunched with !!!! Look @the teams that're @the top of the list of takin care of the ball !!! Our D, scorin avg(FG%, FT%, Fast Break Pts, etc) have compensated for our few flaws which include TOs. Well Im not pushin the panic button nor am I sayin that we're goin 2get KO'd in the 1st rd. But I AM sayin that the shorter the gap between the 2 the deeper we go in2 the playoffs increeases the more chances of us NOT winnin it all . How much I don't know I just know that it'll make it that much harder. Now if a schlub like me can figure out an attack plan against us u can bet 4sure that the other teams we'll face will2.

Force P2, and Allen to go one on one, and drive to the hoop. The Celtics have avoided selfish play, and have looked for the open man.

I like the way ur thinkin RR !! I like the strategy and its an option 2use I my opinion as well. The only concern I have w/that is who else is on the floor w/those guys. Ur gonna have Perk&Rondo on the floor most of the time w/those guys. I don't think Perk is even wrkin on his short jumper and Rondo needs2. To compensate we'll have 2improve our O-board production, I don't know where we rank in that stat in the league but I think it'll have 2b a little higher considering our TOs and our charity in givin up O-boards 2other teams.

Doc does not want Perk to take jumpers, short or otherwise. When he has taken them, Doc always says he is going away from his role. Doc wants him to play around the basket and play defense and rebound and box out so his teammates can rebound. Doc doesn't even want Powe taking short jumpers even though he can make them. He wants them to concentrate on defense.
I am more worried about the poor free throw shooting and wayyyyy too many turnovers.

Double team Rondo. Take it at Perk and try to get him in foul trouble. Put young guys on Ray Allen and make him run all day. Run lots and lots and lots and lots and lots more cause you'll lose in a half court. Make those 30 year olds tired. Put your best defender on KG and make him work for every single inch. Make him pass and someone else beat you. Like Perk, except hopefully he's in foul trouble. Shoot threes early and often with your best shooters. Rotate a lot so your guys don't get too tired. Cause confusion somehow. Complain to the refs a little about the tiniest things that are really vague like "I don't like the way KG is using his hands". Show your guys movies on the plane like 300 and Glory and that movie about the USA beating Russia in hockey or something like that. Get the mayor of your town to offer something creative if you win, like maybe if you're the Lakers a date with Paris. Whatever it takes. Desperate times call for desperate measures. But don't pray. That will hurt you

Im right w/u FL and its part of my thinkin on how teams are gonna approach us in the playoffs when spacing seems to become less and execution is more and more critical in every phase of the gm. Eja has some jokes in his post , but I tell u what u better pay attention 2what he's sayin. His gm plan is an EXCELLENT strategy 2use against us . I don't think we did a real good job of gettin PJ involved in the offense myself . I mean he can hit the mid-range J allllll day long and that can help us in certain situations w/certain match ups. I think we've done a better job w/Sam I Am though, Ive not seen him recently, can any1 help me on w/that? Let me say AGAIN though, we are the favs and Im not sayin we aren't goin 2win it all or that we can't win it all. Im sayin that a lot of our flaws have been cover up, by our D, our scorin, some, not all of the bum teams we've played. Im still not sold on Doc either JUST LIKE FL on the hm pg here. As a matter of fact I have the same concerns he does, well done FL . I mean we game up w/a gm plan 2beat our team . Who thinks the other teams that'll be in the playoffs can do the same ?
