The Celtics finally get to take their Texas road trip test.
1st up is the San Antonio Spurs who are struggling a bit. Philadelphia bit them last night. Philly has been playing well except we have beaten them badly in Philly recently. San Antonio is the defending NBA champions and I expect for them to do so tomorrow night. But it is St Patrick's Day and the Celtics need to win to uphold the luck of the Irish and win their third straight against San Antonio.
Next up is the Houston Rockets. You have to think they will lose a game at some point. Why not against us?
On Thursday is the Dallas Mavericks and they will be tough but I feel we have a chance here.
Finally on Saturday, it is the New Orleans Hornets and they have been electric this year especially in their building. If New Orleans can get to the finals it would be a great thing for the city and the NBA. Besides, I want to do the French Qtr thing in June.
A case can be be made for our next four opponents being in the NBA finals this year so the Celtics will have to bring their "A" game to win these and give us and our fellow conference some respect.
The Eyes of Quiniela are upon Texas today. Go JayHawks and Go Celtics.

Well, this will be the toughest 4 games we have had to face in a row this season. And on the road is just that much tougher. I would hope and expect we can split this trip. I think we can beat Houston and NO, but Spurs and Mavs will be looking for revenge. It was nice to start this trip with a win vs the Bucks, so we can go in with come confidence.
Let's go C's!!

Very, very tough week ahead. The Spurs have lost 2 in a row on top of the fact that we already beat them once and are going to be really mad and come out loaded for bear. The Spurs worry me because they play dirty. Bowen is one of the few players who actually does things to injure players. Ginobili is dirty along with being a flopper. Parker has been known to undercut players and I just want to come out of there without any injuries.
The key to these games is going to be at the point. Rondo will be facing 3 of the top PG's in the league with Parker, Kidd, and Paul.
Also we play the Rockets on the second of back to back games and they may be going for their 23rd in a row by that time. Either that or they will be trying to get a new streak started. They are playing with a lot of confidence.
Very, very tough week

birdie, the Houston game may be the toughest. The Rockets have now won 22 in a row and are going to be extremely motivated to keep that streak alive. They have been shooting the lights out from the outside and the Celtics have trouble with those teams (remember that loss to the Raptors?). Also it will be the second of back to back games after a tough game in San Antonio the night before.

They will win EVERY single game in this road trip.. If Rondo can run the way he did in SA last night, winning 4 is a good possibility. Cassell picked up a big trifecta with one minute left and was instrumental in that foundation 2nd qtr comeback. San Antonio threw a mean haymaker at us in the 1st qtr and Boston got it back to ten at the half. Then they started the second half strong and kept the pressure on San Antonio. Celtics won a biggee last night I'll be very interested to see what tonights game brings.
