Keys to the GameFast out of the Gate The Celtics need to come out strong to begin the game. It is difficult to come back from a deficit on the road and the Celtics should try to get off to a fast start to avoid this. They came out sluggish against the Jazz and never could recover. Defense On their last road trip, the Celtics forgot how to play defense and it resulted in 3 losses in 5 games. The Celtics need to keep up their defensive intensity on this trip. They allowed the Jazz to shoot 51% from the field and they won't be able to win games when letting teams get that many easy shots. Hustle The Celtics need to prove that they want this game more by hustling for loose balls and rebounds. They were out rebounded by the Jazz and need to put out more of an effort in this area. Game Notes: The Celtics won the first matchup between these two teams in Boston 104-82. The Celtics were without Perk in that game. The Bucks may be without their starting point guard as he is recovering from an inflammation in his pelvic bones. The back court of Williams and Redd is second in scoring among starting back courts in the league and they will miss him if he is out. The Celtics were out played by a Jazz team that was more motivated and hopefully that will serve as motivation to come out strong in this one to start off the road trip. Ray Allen rolled his ankle in the Jazz game and is questionable for this one. If he doesn't start, I expect Tony Allen to get the start unless Doc starts House at the 2 and backs up Rondo with Cassell. |

Ray is out tonight for the Celtics. He did put on warmups and got some treatment but won't play. Bogut is out for the Bucks also.

We have the Bucks feed tonight :-( Bucks win the tip. Garnett with a block and Perk comes away with iht. KG misses a shot in the lane and Bucks rebound. Redd hits a 3. KG misses a jumper with 4 on the SC. Perk battles Vilanueva for the rebound and Perk tips it to PP. Perk gets the ball to KG inside for a dunk. Redd misses a 3 and PP pulls down the rebound. PP drives and lays it in. KG with a block. KG is tripped as he drives into the lane. PP loses the ball out of bounds for a turnover. Bucks miss and Gadzuric rebounds. Williams hits an open 3. Tony drives into the paint and hands off to Perk for a dunk. Villanueva misses a 3 and rebound goes out of bounds. Tony is fouled by Redd as he drives. Celtics inbound on the side with 15 on the SC. Celtics miss and Villanueva rebounds. Gadzuric has hit knocked out. Bucks inbound with 15 on the SC. Villanueva misses off the catch. Tony rebounds. Pp turns it over. Mason draws the foul on KG. He misses the first and hits the second. PP drives and draws a foul on Gadzuric. PP hits the FTs. Bucks turn it over. PP drives into the paint and flips it up and in. Ruffin fouled by Tony Allen to prevent the layup. Ruffin hits the first and misses the second. Bucks get the long rebound. Mason misses and KG gets the rebound and then throws the outlet pass too hard and it goes out of bounds. Time out with Celtics up 10-8 and 5:43 left in the 1st quarter.

Bucks inbound in the back court and bring it up. Redd misses a 3 and there is a scramble for the rebound but Villanueva grabs it and hits a jumper. Perk spins and hits a hook shot off the glass. Redd hits a jumper in the paint. KG hits a jumper. Williams miesses and Rondo gets the rebound. He sends a long pass upcourt to Tony for a layup and a foul. Cassell comes in to a round of applause from the crowd. Tony hits the FT. Villanueva has it knocked away. Bucks inbound with 14 on the SC. Tony called for his second foul Bucks inbound on the side. Villanueva misses and Mason rebounds. Mason misses a runner in the lane and Bucks rebound. Time out with Celtics up 17-12 and 2:45 left in the 1st quarter.

Bucks miss out of the time out and get yet another offensive rebound. Mason hits a jumper on the baseline. Alley oop inside to KG for a dunk. Redd gets to the hoop and is fouled. He hits the first. House, Powe and Posey come in. Redd hits the second. House and Cassell in the back court. Celtics miss and Bucks rebound. Bucks miss and Ruffin is fouled by Cassell on the rebound. Ruffin hits the FTS. PJ Brown comes in . Powe misses a jumper. Villanueva rebounds. Ruffin called for an offensive foul as Powe takes the charge. Powe at the line and hits both FTs. Bucks turn it over. Cassell pulls up and hits a jumper. Ivey hits a jumper and is fouled. He misses the FT and Posey grabs the rebound. He misses a 3/4 court heave at the buzzer. Score at the end of 1 is Boston 25 and Bucks 19

PJ's first goes in and out, Second FT is good. Bucks miss a 3 and Gadzuric rebounds and is fouled. Bucks inbound on the side. Bucks miss a jumper and get the rebound. They miss again and get the rebound. Cassell ties him up for a jump ball. Sam gets the tip and KG hits a fall away on the baseline. Pierce called for his first foul. Bucks inbound on the side. Bell shoots and airball at the SC for a SC violation. KG misses a jumper. Williams has the rebound but Rondo gets a steal. KG takes it to the hoop and is fouled. He misses both FTs. Bell takes it right to the hoop for a layup. Brown gets the ball inside from Posey and misses a layup. Bucks rebound. Celtics with a steal. PP with a no look behind the back pass to Rondo under the basket for a layup. Bucks miss and Celtics rebound. KG takes it hard to the basket and Ruffin is called for a flagrant foul. Bell hits a jumper from the corner. Bucks called for a foul. Celtics inbound on the side. Perk gets inside for a layup. Bucks turn it over. Rondo takes it to the hoop and hits a scoop shot. Bucks shoot an airball. Celtics rebound and call time out. Celtics inbound in the back court with 3.2 left in the half. Posey sends a long pass to KG in the front court and Ruffin fouls KG. Now today Doc has the subs running smoothly and the game in control...Loved the early subs of Cassell, Powe, and PJ...Though this is an easier team...We've completely stopped their offense and our offense is running pretty good...hopefully we completely blow this game out in the 3rd and get some rest for the starters...

PP drives and lays it in and is fouled. Gadzuric has his 4th foul. PP hits the FT. Rondo with pressure in the back court. Tony gets hits in the face by Redd's elbow but they call the foul on Tony. Williams with a travel. PP misses a 3. Gadzuric rebounds. Tony with a steal and KG finishes with a monser jam. Bucks miss but Vilanueva is there for the put back. Celtics miss and Villanueva rebounds. Williams misses a 3 and PP rebounds. KG misses up and under and Bucks rebound. Bucks miss on the baseline. PP gets the weak side rebound. PP lays it in. Williams hits a jumper. KG misses a jumper Mason rebounds. Rondo called for a foul as Mason drives to the hoop. He misses both FTS KG rebounds. Rondo drives baseline and lays it in and is fouled. He hits the FT. Redd with an airball that goes right to Rondo. Perk gets tripled inside and he kicks out to KG who misses a jumper from the corner. Bucks rebound. Perk has it taken away as he backs into the paint. Bucks miss and Perk rebounds. long outlet pass to Rondo. Rondo pulls up and hits a jumper. Ivey misses a jumper. Perk rebounds. Ball goes out of bounds not sure which team it was off of. Time out with Celtics up 67-48 and 2:50 left in the 3rd.

Celtics inbound. KG hits a jumper over the defender. Bucks bench must have said something to him as he turned and glared at teh Bucks bench after hitting that shot. Bucks miss and rebound goes out to Boston. KG hits a jumper. Vilanueva misses a dunk. Bucks rebound. Simmons hits a jumper. Rondo stops and hits a jumper. Whistles blow. Double technical called on Simmons and KG. KG goes to the bench. Posey called for a foul. Redd hits both FTs. Doc is yelling frantically at Tony to sprint. Ball is deflected ot of bounds. Celtics inbound on the baseline. Posey misses and Rondo hustles to try to save the ball and knocks it out off Bucks. Sam comes in for Tony. Celtics inbound in the corner. Sam loses the Ball but House is there to grab it and take it in for a layup. Simmons misses from the corner. Ivey called for a foul on the rebound. Celtics inbound and House brings it up. House drives and loses the ball out of bounds. Ivey takes it to the hoop and misses and Ruffin tips in the miss but not sure it counts. Score at the end of 3 is Boston 75 and Milwaukee 54
