Despite two losses, Gabe Pruitt is playing very well in his third stint in the D-League. We definitely have a talented young guard in Gabe. He has 13 more games to get stronger and develop his game with the Flash. He'll probably return to our roster next season as a more mature PG so he can explore his offensive talent.

That 22 point effort he went 7/21FG..Not too good..The 6 and 8 ast are very good...I'm happy for his stats but I'm disappointed in the situation he's in..They're playing him at the 2 spot rather than the PG which we need him to get used to..He's like the first or at least second option on that team so he's been shooting a lot and i wanted to see if he could get some time to run a team..Either way, I still hope the guy comes back next year and produces..I think he can but that's mostly a guess...

I think a lot of his shooting issues in the D-League have had a lot to do with the fact that he's spent a lot of time on the shelf. At least now he can get some consistent minutes and get in to a rhythm. That said, he needs to be playing the point, not the 2.

Another loss, but a good ofensive game for Gabe though (despite bad shooting percentage).

PS: Former Celtic Brandon Wallace plays for the D-Fenders but is just proving that he simply wasn't good enough to be in our team...

Ainge praises Gabe
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Danny Ainge said that his approach in the next draft will be diferent. He'll be searching for the right player, not necessarily the most talented. The Celtics will probably get a lower pick so that's an inteligent perspective.
He said to the Boston Herald that in Gabe they have a very good young player, but they can even get him on the floor... They have a win-now mentality.
I guess that proves that Gabe is really in high consideration among the Celtics staff.
And he's sure playing good in the D-League:
