Well folks, with a heavy heart I'm here to tell you that Scot Pollard's year, and quite possibly tenure, with the Boston Celtics is over.

His days in a uniform are over, but Pollard Planet will live in our hearts forever. Lets hope Danny brings him back for another season of hilarity.

Hopefully the reason was better than when Eric Montross got hurt, and said he tripped over a baby crib.

It could just be me but I never got the impression he really wanted to do that. He showed up. Got hurt. Collected his million. Said it was frustrating and left. Usually when other players have been hurt I hear something about how hard they are rehabbing and the schedule they've set. I never heard anything about that with him. I don't understand how he got more hurt, while he was already hurt and not playing.
