Every one knows that this week is All-Star weekend (Please note; Celtics Stuff Live will start and finish an hour early, as the game is on at 8:00PM, EST)) and a time for celebration for Celtics fans who have four playing and two coaching representatives, but are we all aware that the trade deadline is fast approaching as well?
Thursday Feb 21st., is the day and even with the major trades of Pau Gasol and Shaquille O'Neal going down and Jason Kidd in limbo between New Jersey and Dallas, there are several other marquee players who are allegedly being sought and shopped.
Who better to help us separate the realistic from the fantastic on these deals and their potential to affect the playoff and championship runs of the contending teams, than Eric Pincus.
"Eric Pincus is a member of the Professional Basketball Writers Association and has covered the NBA for HOOPSWORLD for five years, powering HOOPSWORLD.COM and HOOPSWORLD Magazine."
Eric's latest column , from Feb. 15th, mentioning such names as Zach Randolph, Mike Miller and Ron Artest, as being of interest to the Denver Nuggets, will be just the starting point for trade discussions.
As Eric is a credentialed reporter covering the Lakers, I'm sure we will also be interested in his observations of how well Gasol has been integrated into that team which has won eight of their last ten games and has to be considered in any Western Conference playoff scenario.
If you have a question for our guest or the show you can call our toll free number (1.866.751.9649) anytime leading up to tip off on Sunday and leave us a voice mail to air live or you can send us an e-mail .
As always we will take your calls live during the show and monitor the chat wars in The Pit.
We hope you will join us.
