I think w/ the '3's salaries, finding a big man is an internal project. Powe, Davis have potential. Perks, I think what you see is what you get.

You like Sean Williams now, but I'm not sure he won't smoke his way out of the league and I know Powe won't do that. I don't see lots of upside in any of these guys. If they had that much they'd show it already. If you force me to go the upside route I guess I'd look at Tyrus, Powe, Smith, and Williams. Of that group Smith has shown by far the most. I went for consistency which was Bass. Powe is showing me way more since I made this poll. Williams is only in his first year so I'm willing to wait for next year.

Very good point..one reason why i took Powe over him..Powe just seems like a great guy with his head on straight...Craig Smith surprised me a bit when we faced him and Bass has been nice too but i've always had a soft spot for Powe because he hustles and does what he does when it's given to him...He accepts his role whether it benefits him or not... |
