I hope Phoenix gets there. Anyone but Kobe and anyone but the Spurs.

And I tell you one thing. At least one or two of these trades is going to backfire

I think the Cavs' trade was a rushed move...
They got rid of Larry Hughes and Drew Gooden
Getting rid of Larry was nice but Gooden was very good and he lit us up this year so i'm glad to see him go..
They got Delonte, Wally, and Wallace
West isn't that great and was whining on the Sonics Wally isn't that great either, if they want another guy to get injured be my guest Wallace has no offensive purpose and has shown he's getting worse every year though he is a decent addition to strengthen their defense
So they lost some big offensive production from Gooden and got nothing in return for that except for Wally who'll make maybe one three a game before he breaks his ankles West will most likely play limited minutes then complain he's behind Boobie... Wallace will get rebounds, and blocks and maybe be some type of force...
This trade doesn't hurt them but it doesn't make me any more worried than i was before...

Good points. I agree with that. Getting wallace is the defensive stopper they needed though. Lebron and some defense might be interesting. Delonte is also an interesting option for them at the point which may pan out. I still think we are much better than them. It's still detroit and whoever we have to play in the finals for the most part. I just think Cleveland made things a little more interesting by shaking things up a bit. I think cleveland was a team that kind of had to do that. We aren't. I think the last two games our defense suffered because we got two guys back that hadnt played in a bit. The last thing we need is to shake things up even moreso with a trade imo. We just need to get everyone back and on the same page again. We have the players already. Most if not all of the maneuvering that was needed was done during the offseason.

Speaking of trades and the east coast. I'm watching the miami game and it's too late for Miami but the wade, marion combo could be pretty good next year if they rid themselves of mark blount of course, and get someone to help Haslem down there. They have some decent pieces with Wade, Marion and Dorell Wright... Haslem is pretty good too.

Yeah...Picture the Heat next year after a lottery pick! Micheal Beasley? Marion is a good defender and rebounder and is a great complement alongside Wade...Blount is still a joke and i love Haslem's game...

the Nets waived Jamal Magloire, anyone to get him

He's hardly played this season. I don't think he'd do well in a workout but I'd want to see. I figure if he could do much he'd still be a net

I read that Celtics signed with Brent Barry, that's something I don't understand

He's a decent veteran player who gives depth and should come cheap and we don't have to waive anyone to get him. Maybe it allows House to concentrate a little more at the point. Helps people stay fresh and give other teams different looks and go with a hot hand. Maybe the best part is it keeps other teams from getting him. It may not seem like a great idea now, but it would look much better if Ray Allen, Tony Allen, or gosh forbid PP went down

we are in the run for Flip Murray, and Jamaal Magloire, other source tell that we will wait for Sam Cassell, and if Chris Andersen don't sign with the Hornets and stay free agent, Celtics will go after him. For me the right things are that we must get Cassell or badly Murray will do the work too, and pray for Andersen, Magloire is finished for me, but Birdman is very athletic guy and will do perfect power job in the paint. If he isn't in a good shape, we can every night use him for 6 fauls and some rebound, block shot, and make nervous the opponent player. Birdman and the Alien is the key to the title, what you think guys

All 3 of those guys could help. We haven't signed barry to my knowledge yet though. I tend to think most of this stuff is just reporters talking out of their butts per usual. Can't believe everything you read birdie. DA himself has not hinted at signing any of these guys. the only thing he has said is they would sign the right player if he comes along. I'm not really big on any of these guys. Cassell is probably the best of the bunch. Magloire couldnt even play for teh nets. Barry I actually like. He is another shooter we could use. He can shoot it.

The last thing I ever want is Magloire playing the middle for us at any time during a playoff series if he isn't willing to play defense. You though blount was bad defensively. Magloire is a free pass to the basket. If we sign a big man i tend to thik it will be someone who can play defense.
I also think we'll draft someone this offseason. nbadraft has us taking hendrix which would be a good pick. but if we want to bring someone in for a half season.

Ah, but who would you rather have in a game. Magloire or Pollard? Tough call. They're both horrid
