Rondo is the worst starting PG in the league, he will be nothing in other team, he poop himself at the end of games and make 2-3 turnovers a minute, I'm very sorry to tell tha butt this guy is not for that team, this team will do nothing big with this PG, we need someone with experience, Rondo do so much mistakes right now, what about the playoff games, the opponent PG, will eat him alive The only PG's that have legitimately eaten Rondo alive this season was Chauncey during the first game (and that was only after Rondo smacked the snot out of Chauncey in the first half) and Nelson during the first Magic game this season. Other than that this second year player has played excellent basketball all season. He has developed quicker then expected and when KG was out with the Ab strain, Rondo stepped his game up significantly; as a result Boston hardly skipped a beat. While I will agree that his game management down the stretch of close games can be suspect at times, I will say that the body of work as it pertains to close games in the fourth quarter is hardly large enough from which to draw the conclusion that he's "poop", less we forget that game management in the waning parts of a game is much more a reflection of seasoning then it is ability. He's averaging better than 2.8 assists per TO, which is better than respectable (in fact it's better then Jason Kidd's 2.23 assists per TO, Tony Parker's 2.23 AS/TO, Raefer Alston's 2.59, Bibby's 1.97 AS/TO............and so on). Rondo is also an excellent perimeter defender, he's 15th in the league in steals per game at 1.67, and has improved offensively averaging better than 10 per while shooting over 48% from the floor in 30+ minutes a game.........I don't care what your standards are, that is excellent play from a point guard, particularly one that has had to mesh with 3 future hall of famers, taking constant criticism/coaching from arguably the toughest coach on PG's in the league, all while continuing to develop as a player. Rondo would be a pretty damed good player, regardless of the talent around him. --Fin
