We probably won't be at the top of the NBA like we are now. How do you think a trio of Pierce, Ray, and Big Al would be like? There would probably be more shots to go around for Pierce and Allen. We wouldn't have attracted free agents like House or Posey if we didn't have KG. We would probably end up with a 44-38 season while battling the Raptors for the Atlantic Division title and would've end up with the 3-6th seed in the play offs. We wouldn't have a good chance at the finals. Maybe an exciting run in the play-offs, 2nd round at best. Big Al might have better numbers than KG this season, but the defense and the intensity KG brings to this team is irreplaceable. I would like to here ya'll opinions on how you think the Celtics would do without KG. Just curious to hear your thoughts.

No KG, no House, and no Posey?
Still have Jefferson, Gomes, Green, and Telfair? And we still have Ray Allen?
I think we'd be somewhere in the bottom of the playoff picture. 6 or 7 being the spot I'm thinking. But no real shot at the title.

I'd say somewhere around a 45-50 win team.

I'd say somewhere around a 45-50 win team. You really think that? I'd think somewhere along 41 - 45 wins. But that team could be a really good team. Jefferson is a 25 and 12 guy next year. Along with Pierce and Allen and their double digit scoring, and with an emerging Rondo, that would be a nice team next year. But I still say that team won't be a title contender.

I'd say around a 45-50 win team. You pretty much ahve it right Derren. We basically traded Al, GOmes, green Telfair for KG, Pollard, Posey. We probably wouldn't have signed Pollard or Posey had we not made the trade. We might have still signed House to replace West..... Would we stil have Baby? Anyways I think we'd be good and an exciting team, but our defense wouldn't be nearly as good. Not sure we'd share the ball on offense as much either or move the ball as well. WE'd still probably score a bunch of points though and have some decent defensive players in Rondo and Perk but the rest of our team would be not quite up to par defensively. Garnett and Posey are our two best defensive players to go with Rondo and Perk.

Probably about 50 wins, however we would still have Theo's Expiring deal, to get either Gasol Marion Shaq or whoever maybe even Garnett for less.

We would be like the Washington Wizards/ Seattle Sonics without KG. This team would be able to put 100 pts every night but, we wouldn't be able to defend at all thus, making this team a very poor playoff team.

That's an excellent point, JHVOS. We could be a dynamic scoring team, but if we don't have Thibodeau, we are nothing more than the GS Warriors. Our defense is what has set us apart this season.
