I read on another board talks of DW back in Boston, to fill the back-up PG - for chump change.
A) Any thoughts on the Idea?
B) What would be the cost?
C) Can he stay healthy? (Has he ever been?)
Just wanted to see what you thought.
I don't care for it, due to injury issus. If healthy and in a good fram-of-mind, I say cool and go for it. He would be a cheap bench player for the short-term.

I sure hope so, he is definitely better than Eddie House at both SG and PG doesn't have the killer instinct that Eddie Has but he is very good defensively and well he kinda looked like a leprachaun so I thought he fit in well.
It would be cool if we could somehow bring back Ryan Gomes Delonte and Gerald Green next season or even a local guy like Craig Smith

West is a better ball handler and has more of a penetrating offense and driving intensity than House(remember against us? West just keep driving for layups)..Now, House is the better shooter and can rack up points though West ain't no slouch at shooting either..Not sure if it's worth it to give up something of value for West when we got House..He's an improvement over House but at what cost? They won't trade West for nothing...I'm not too sure...House seems to be injury free and West always has bumps and bruises..I just don't think it's worth the risk at the end of the day...

I'd take Delonte back.

Yes, having Delonte back in Boston would be nice. BUT, only if Doc will not overuse him. I grew tired of watching Delonte start over Rondo. As long as Delonte is strictly coming back as a backup who plays 15 minutes per game (plus some minutes at the 2), I will welcome him with open arms.
Delonte is not the 'quick' shooter that House is, but he can play the Point a smudge better.

I'd take him back next season. I think his price range is just as much as we're currently paying Eddie. At least with Delonte we'll be able to add size in the backcourt who can defend the bigger pgs in the nba i.e Chauncey, Baron, and J. Kidd.

One complication is that a team cannot reacquire a player they traded away during that season (a season being July 1 - June 30) unless the player has been waived. So I believe we would have to wait until the off-season to reacquire him. members.cox.net/lmcoon/salarycap.htm#67

Ya, that's how Boston got GP back during that Atlanta deal a few years ago. I would rather have West or Gerald Green than Tony Allen. I've grown tired of seeing Tony Allen dribble the ball off his foot, taking a bad shot, or charging into the lane against three defenders. That said in order to get an impact player to back up at the point, Boston will have to get either the newly waived Damon Staudamire or Sam Cassel, who is mentioned in trade rumors it seems daily.

West hasn't been playing well in Seattle. Not sure it would be a wise move.
