Any honest and well informed Celtics fan would admit that one day, sooner or later, Al Jefferson and some combination of the other players and draft picks traded with him to the Timberwolves should pass Kevin Garnett and the salary restricted Celtics, on the up and down ladders of the NBA, but did anyone think it would be this week, or even this season?
Minnesota came into town riding high on wins against Golden State (on the road) and Phoenix (perhaps the league's hottest team) and almost beat "The Big Three" in their own house.
While the Celtics have been a disappointing 5-4 in their last nine games, with a few more visitor favorable whistles it could easily have been 4-5, which would have exactly matched Minnesota's record over that span.
What are we to make out of the Celtic's recent struggles? Are they bored? Has the league figured them out? Can Doc Rivers be trusted to have the right combinations on the floor at the close of games?
We will turn to our trusted guide in all things Celtic; Steve Bulpett, who has 22 years of continuous service covering the Celtics (the longest in the NBA with one team) on a home and away beat.
Steve who will be driving down the Florida turnpike, right through "Aligator Alley," will join us in the first hour and stay with us all night if necessary:
Our mild mannered "Boston Herald " reporter, who always has his feet on the ground and his ear to the wind, will surely guide us through this dark night of the soul.
We hope you will join us.

Might as well start early and go from there. I'll be driving from Orlando to Miami, so you'll have me captive for as long as you want. I even got an earpiece for the phone so I won't crash into the Everglades.
