The Celtics had only 12 rebounds in the half while the Sixers had 22. KG had 5 of them, Perk had 6 and Pruitt had the other. Interesting stat..Hopefully Doc will look at it..I'm kind of content with the halftime score and position we're in..Sixers broke our great D, had better stats than us all around but are only up 3 and i'm sure we'll up the Defense...No doubt, that halftime speech will be all about D |

Celtics inbound to start the third. KG takes it to the hoop and misses a layup. Sixers rebound. AI hits a hook shot in the lane. KG hits a turn around jumper. Green misses a 3 at the SC but Dalembert grabs the long rebound. Celtics get the strip in the lane. House misses a layup and Sixers rebound. AI turns it over on a bad pass out of bounds. PP fakes a 3 and drives into the lane and lays it in on a finger roll. PP tips the pass out of bounds. Sixers inbound with 7 on the SC. RA with a steal. RA fakes the shot and spins and Evans called for a foul. Celtics inbound on the side. PP has it stripped out of bounds. Perk called for his 4th foul. Miller hits a turn around on the baseline. RA brings the ball up. House misses a jumper. Sixers rebound. Sixers miss and KG steps out of bounds trying to save the rebound. Sixers inbound. Dalembert misses a jumper and PP rebounds. Loose ball foul called on KG. Illegal pick called on Dalembert. PP called for a foul under the basket. House with a steal. PP hits a 3 after some great ball movement. Time out with game tied at 61. 7:16 left in the 3rd

Now the refs weren't necessarily making the wrong calls but they were getting extremely picky and it ruined the great pace and excitement this game had..But that last possession for Pierce's three was picture perfect, lots of ball movement...

Sixers and bring it up with no pressure. House called for a foul in the lane. Sixers inbound on the side. AI misses a jumper and Miller grabs the rebound. Green hits a jumper from the corner. Miller called for his third foul. Celtics inbound on the side. PP turns it over. Dalembert turns it over on a bad pass as he runs over House. Celtics turn it over again. Green drives to the hoop and House called for a blocking foul, his third. Green misses the first and hits the second FT. RA misses a jumper off the catch. Perk is fouled on the rebound. Celtics inbound on the side with 14 on the SC. PP drives to the hoop and lays it in with the left hand and is fouled. He hits the FT. Celtics with pressure in the back court. Sixers pass out of it. AI stepped out of bounds. PP misses a fall away and Sixers get the long rebound. AI takes it down the lane and lays it in. KG is doubled and passes cross court to House. He gets it back in the paint and passes to PErk for a dunk. Evans hits a jumper. HOuse misses a jumper and Smith rebounds. Offensive foul on Evans, his third. PP gets the ball inside on a nice pass from Perk and lays it in and is fouled. He hits the FT. Sixers have it knocked out of bounds and will inbound with 13 on the SC. POWE COMES IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Miller misses and Smith rebounds. Miller banks one in. KG misses a jumper and Powe grabs the offensive rebound. Time out with Philly up 70-69 and 2:18 left in the third.

Powe at the line. He hits both FTs. Sixers take it straight to the hoop and miss a layup but get the rebound. AI is blocked by Powe and lose the ball out of bounds. RA inbounds the ball to Tony who brings it up. KG hits a jumper from the top of the key. KG called for his second foul. Evans at the line Leon has to go to the side to get a cut taken care of. Celtics up 73-70 and 1:17 left in the third

Evans hits 1 of 2 and Celtics rebound. Celtics miss and Sixers rebound. Powe takes a charge but Pierce called for a foul. Miller hits 1 of 2. Davis, Powe, Posey, Tony and PP are on the floor. PP hits a 3 from the side. Miller plows over PP and the refs make a bad call to call him for the foul. Miller misses the first. House and RA come in for Davis and PP. Miller hits the second. Tony takes it hard to the hoop and is fouled. Leon had the rebound if they didn't call the foul. Tony hits both FTs. Sixers inbound with 3.7 on the SC. They miss at the buzzer and Score at the end of 3 is Celtics 78 and Sixers 73.

Powe played very nicely and i was happy to see Doc FINALLY use a lineup with Big Baby and Powe together...I just noticed Pruitt has tape on his right fingers..Did he have that in the beginning of the game? And is he hurt? Sprained/Jammed fingers? I just noticed it when he came in

Tony called for a foul, his 4th. Williams hits both FTs. Celtics pass out of the pressure in the back court. Tony called for an offensive foul, his 5th. Baby called for a blocking foul as the takes the charge. He looked like he had good position. Not a good call. Sixers inbound on the side. Powe called for a foul as he prevents the layup. He misses the first and hits the second. Celtics again pass out of the pressure. Posey misses inside and Sixers get the long rebound. They quickly get back for a layup. Time out with 9:06 left in the 4th and Celtics up 86-81

House banks in a jumper. Back court violation as Posey and RA double Dalembert. RA misses a 3 and AI rebounds. Offensive foul as RA draws the charge. House quickly brings the ball up. RA's bounce pass is picked off and AI goes in for a dunk. Sixers still hanging around. House misses and Sixers rebound. Miller with a layup. RA misses a jumper and Dalembert rebounds. Sixers miss and Powe rebounds. KG dumps it inside to Powe for a dunk. Sixers miss and RA rebounds. RA drives down the lane and lays it in. Time out with Celtics up 94-85 and 5:24 left in the 4th

Sixers miss and Powe grabs the rebound and is fouled and PP grabs him with a big hug as he is falls out of bounds. KG hits a jumper. Sixers miss and Dalembert wrestles the rebound from Powe and pushes him out of the way, but Dalembert is fouled. He hits both FTs. KG is doubled and fouled but no call KG finds House who hits a 3 off the catch. RA called for a foul. Evans misses both FTs and the rebound comes out to House. RA inside to Powe who misses a hook shot. He gets his own rebound and is hacked on the put back but no call and he is mugged on the third attempt and they finally call the foul. He misses both FTs. Rebound goes out off Sixers. Time out with 2:58 left in the 4th and Celtics up 101 - 87
