Both teams are coming off a win with the Sixers having beaten the Rockets on the road. The Sixers are 2-8 in their last 10 games and 8-13 on the road. This is the kind of game that the Celtics could take for granted but shouldn't. At leas the Celtics won't have to deal with Kyle Korver's outside shooting in this game. Rondo is likely out for this game and since House did a good job in the last game, he will likely start. Pruitt did a good job coming off the bench and hopefully Doc will give him more time in this game. The real battles will be inside as Perk and KG will try to keep Iguodala and Dalembert out of the paint and off the glass. Keys to the GameBe Aggressive. The Celtics were successful in their last game because they took the ball to the hoop and were aggressive on both ends of the floor. They have to keep this up. The aggressiveness was missing in their losses. Defense. The Celtics got back to the team defense that made them successful early and they need to hustle on the defensive end and play good team defense. Play 48 minutes. The Celtics have to hustle for 48 minutes. They have gotten into the habit of coming out flat and then playing catchup or getting a lead and then coasting. They have to come out strong and if they get a lead, keep the pressure on.

why couldn't Powe get some minutes instead of Scal..and yes Scal tries very hard and will probably have a moment or too but Powe would be a better fit since we're playing small ball and you know the boards are gonna be tough to get..

Glad to see you here FL and runrondo. I wonder where everyone else is tonight?
I totally agree with getting Powe some minutes. I remember last year that he was one of the few bright spots on this team along with Gomes. Its a shame Doc doesnt trust anyone but the big names on this team. Its his shortsightedness that is going to cost us some of these games.

Okay, we're getting outplayed but Doc's really really small ball lineup didn't help at all cause why put Posey at the 4 and Scalabrine at the 5 when both players aren't even interior orientated..Posey's defensive abilities are being wasted by forcing him to play big guys...Our biggest problem is points in the paint(small ball, out hustling us) but i will say this is the best instance to be losing in..We've been inconsistent with offense so when we're losing 42-40 or something like that it's a little worrisome because our offense might disappear when it matters most..Now this game i'm pretty confident we'll come out the 2nd half playing good defense and that's our main problem right now since our offense is solidly producing...
Oh yeah, and Pruitt played nicely(had one or two bad passes) but he seemed very anxious which wouldn't be the problem if this wasn't the first time he got a chance to play meaningful minutes in a game we're losing...

I totally agree Runrondo and Loy. Powe would be a better option than Scal when Doc insists on the small ball. We get beat on the boards and Powe would help there. Scal is not a good rebounder.

Guess Ray's rested/healthy now..It's really good to see him producing especially since he's usually considered the third wheel in the big 3 but he's just as important as the other two when he's on fire..Feed him the ball!!..
Yup, and it's not a knock on Scal because anyone can see he TRIES but he really does not have a strong rebounding game and never will while Powe has shown he's a strong rebounder...If Doc is gonna use small ball then at least use the best players you have for it(Usually it'd be big baby but he had foul trouble)...
