Paul Pierce hit a tiebreaking layup with 28 seconds left, then sealed Boston's fifth straight victory with a defensive rebound and two free throws as the Celtics beat the Utah Jazz 104-98 Saturday night.
"Pierce was shut out in the first half, then took over the scoring in the final two periods. He had 10 points in the third and another 14 in the fourth to lead Boston to its 14th win in the last 15 games.
Ray Allen scored 23 and Kevin Garnett added 15 points and nine rebounds for the Celtics, who complete a four-game road trip Sunday at the Lakers.
Deron Williams had 22 points and 11 assists, and Carlos Boozer finished with 19 points and 11 rebounds for Utah."

Garnett [glow=red,2,300] 7/13FG 15pts 9reb [/glow]

Tony Allen [glow=red,2,300]4/7FG 10pts 3stl[/glow]
Ray Ray [glow=red,2,300]9/15FG 23pts 4reb[/glow]
Rondo [glow=red,2,300]3/8FG 7pts 7ast 3stl[/glow]
My Vote [glow=red,2,300]goes to Pierce[/glow]..Tony as a very very close second..Pierce was the factor the WHOLE second half on offense and carried us on the offensive end while we took care of defense at certain points..I was proud of Tony changing our defensive tempo but he still made some petty mistakes(missed dunk and that offensive foul when Rondo made the layup)..He did a great job anyhow but he's still gaining confidence since that injury...
