I have to say, I expected my first trip to the Garden to be different from last year, but I had no idea that it would be so electric. Not only are the people filling the seats, but the amount of pride that each fan is portraying from celtics gear they are decked out in all the way to the smile that runs across their face is awesome. I felt as though I could have grabbed 4 other fans from the crowd and we could have gone out and played with more intensity than the Magic. People are excited, competitive and more importantly the game just seems to matter again.
Coming from someone who has been a dedicated Celtics fan for about 20 years, I haven't seen this ever. It starts with Garnett, goes all the way down the bench to Eddie House and Brian Scalabrine, and filters out into the stands. Sadly it will probably be the only game I can attend all year (since I don't reside in Boston anymore), but what a great feeling to know that this is the atmosphere going on right now. It makes me that much more confident that I will be watching an NBA finals match up involving the Celts for the first time in 20 years. Praise Jesus! The Celts have officially brough basketball back in Boston!!

Red would definitely be proud. This is what Celtics basketball is all about.
