With Perk out, expect Big Baby to get the start against Yi Jianlian. From all reports, if we had not traded the #5 pick for Ray Allen and Big Baby, we would have drafted Yi Jianlian. Needless to say, Yi has a big height advantage on Big Baby, so it will be interesting to see how Big Baby can use his bulk to make up for it.  vs  This is a matchup of scorers. How goes Redd is how goes the Bucks. In the win over the Magic, Redd had a near triple double with 27 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists. Ray will have to try to contain him while keeping him busy on the defensive end as well. This would be a good time for Ray to break out of his shooting slump. Keys to the Game: 1. Defense. The Celtics will need to defend in the paint as well as on the perimeter. 2. Contain Michael Redd. When Redd scores 15 points, pulls down 5 rebounds and dishes out 5 assists, the Bucks are 5-0. 3. Play 48 minutes. The Celtics need to come out strong and keep their energy for 48 minutes. The Bucks are a good defensive team, holding the Magic to 33% shooting and only86 points. If we spot them a lead, it will be hard to come back against them. Game Notes. The Bucks come into this game with confidence, having beaten the Magic 100-86. The Bucks have big men who can score in the paint and over their last 3 games, they hold a 126-76 advantage in the paint. But you can't leave them alone on the perimeter either as they have several players who can hit the outside shot. They have also been out rebounding their opponents. The Celtics will miss Perk in this game as they could use his toughness and defense inside. The Celtics must take this team seriously right from the beginning, or they will end up in a hole they can't dig out of. |

I totally agreed with the keys to the game..we really need to come out and stomp on the Buck's confidence or else this could possibly be our first loss at home...Definetly going to be tough for Big Baby to guard a guy with such a height advantage but these challenges will only make him better added witht the fact he will need to get used to being smaller than most Forwards...This team beat the "supposed" best team in the East Magic pretty handly so it would be nice to see the Celtics pull a big win here..Can't Wait!  |

Ray Allen will not play tonight. Perk will play tonight. They aren't saying much about RA's injury other than it is a bruise on his ankle and isn't serious but more precautionary. Perk is going to give it a try which is good with Bogut in the pivot for Milwaukee and they are a team that likes to score in the paint.

Perk wins the tip against Bogut. PP gets to the hoop and misses a layup. KG misses the tip. Bucks rebound. Bogut misses a hook shot in the lane. Rondo finds KG at the top of the key for a jumper. Rondo with a steal as he gets ahead of Williams at mid court. He gets it inside to Tony who is fouled. He hits both FTs. Mason spins into the lane and lays it in. Rondo with a bounce pass inside that Perk can't handle and Celtics turn it over. Williams hits a 3 from the top of the arc. PP hits a jumper from the side. Bogut can't handle the pass and Bucks turn it over. Tony drives into the lane and turns it over. Williams gets to the hoop for a layup. Rondo gets to the hoop and misses a layup. Rebound goes out off Bucks. PP hits a 3 from the corner. Rondo tips the ball away and Yi tracks it down. KG playing good defense on him causes him to back up and step over the line for a back court violation. KG hits a jumper. Bucks miss and Perk rebounds. Gets it out quickly to Tony at mid court. KG hits a jumper over Bogut. Bucks turn it over on a bad pass out of bounds. PP got Simmons in the air and misses a jumper. rebound goes out off Bucks. Celtics inbound and then turn it over. Yi hits a jumper from the outside. KG spins around Bogut who is called for a foul as he grabs KG on the way past. Celtics inbound on the side. Williams fouls Rondo as he drives to the hoop. He hits both FTs. Bucks turn it over as Redd fumbles the ball out of bounds. PP hits a jumper from the FT line. Bogut puts it in off the glass with his left hand. Williams with a steal as he gets in the passing lane and picks off Pierce's pass. He takes it all the way in for a layup. PP gets Simmons in the air and misses a jumper. Bogut rebounds. Bucks turn it over. Time out with Celtics up 17-13 and 4:50 left in the first

Rondo gets inside and kicks out to KG who hits a floater in the lane. Yi misses a jumper and KG rebounds. Rondo pulls up for a jumper from about 15 ft. Tony called for his second foul. Posey, Big Baby and House come in for KG, Rondo and PP. Rondo comes back in for Perk. Yi hits both FTs. Celtics inbound with 21 left in the first. Rondo holding for the final shot. Rondo with a nice cross over move to the hoop and lays it in. Bucks miss a half court heave at the buzzer. Score at the end of one is Celtics 25 and Bucks 21

Mason misses both FTs. Lane violation and Mason gets another FT. He hits this one. House quickly brings the ball up. PP is fouled by Voskuhl as he drives into the paint. Celtics inbound on the side. PP misses a jumper and Davis grabs the rebound and is fouled by Voskuhl. Celtics inbound on the side. House hits a 3 off the catch. Villanueva hits a jumper. Big Baby gets into the lane and misses a baby hook shot. Redd misses and Celtics rebound. House misses a jumper and Villanueva rebounds and banks it in on the other end. PP hits a jumper in the paint. Big Baby with a steal and he is fouled by Bell as both fall out of bounds. Perk and KG back in. Posey, House, PP, KG and Perk on the floor. However, there was a play before that where he blew a layup so... |

Redd gets to the hoop and lays it in and draws the foul. PP gets to the hoop and misses a layup. REdd rebounds. Villanueva hits a 3. Bucks go up by 4. Perk gets it to KG who slips it back to Perk who is fouled. He hits both FTs. Redd hits a runner in the lane. KG misses a layup. Perk gets the rebound and has it stripped out of bounds. Celtics inbound on the baseline with 23 on the SC. Defensive 3 second violation on the Bucks. PP hits the T. Celtics inbound with 18 on the SC. Rondo misses a jumper and Mason rebounds. Redd gets it inside to Voskuhl for a dunk. Tony hits a 3. Mason misses a jumper and Kg rebounds. Tony's shot is way short and Bucks rebound. Tony with a steal and he gets it to KG cutting down the lane for a huge one handed dunk. Time out with 2:07 left in the half and Game tied at 42
