The Utah Flash got their first franchise win behind the play of Gabe Pruitt. He finished with 31 points (including the game winner with 3.9 seconds to go), 3 rebounds, 8 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot along with only 2 turnovers in 40 minutes of play. Brandon Wallace also played well with 14 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 1 block in 39 minutes. Former Celtic Kedrick Brown was playing for the Anaheim Arsenal. Pruitt is a man amongst boys. I think this just goes to show that he isnt that far away. I think he is one guy that will make an impact for us later in the season.

I agree. I think Gabe will make a meaningful contribution later in the season, much in the same way Gomes did in his rookie season.

The 8 assists is the stat that really stands out for me, thats good news, the 31 points is nice but we really don't need him to become a top scoring option just a change of pace PG behind Rondo.

I actually think we need his shooting, more than his passing. We need scoring outside of our Trilogy. Ball movement only works when guys are hitting open shots.

I really like Gabe Pruitt. I am an avid fan of college hoops and I followed him because I knew he would make a good NBA player. I hope that the Celtic's give him a chance. I think that after a couple years in the NBDL he will develop into the player I think he should be.

I watched him at USC and thought he was too nice (which led me to think he was too soft to succeed in the NBA). Hope he proves me wrong.
