 at  Boston Celtics (8-0) at Orlando Magic (8-2) Sunday, November 18 6:00 PM ET TV: CSN, NBA TV HD, Sun Sports HD Amway Arena   Probable Starters      PG: Rajon Rondo SG: Ray Allen SF: Paul Pierce PF: Kevin Garnett C: Kendrick Perkins Off the Bench: Eddie House, Brian Scalabrine, James Posey, Tony Allen, Big Baby Davis, Scot Pollard, Leon Powe Key off the Bench  Posey's defense is going to be needed in this game and House's outside shooting off the bench will be important to the second unit.   Probable Starters      PG: Jameer Nelson SG: Keith Bogans SF: Hedo Turkoglu PF: Rashard Lewish C: Dwight Howard Off the Bench: Carlos Arroyo, Keyon Dooling, Trevor Ariza, Adonal Foyle Key off the Bench   Carlos Arroyo and Keyon Dooling have been productive off the Magic bench and should provide them a lift when the starters go out. Key Matchups  vs  Kevin Garnett 6'11" PPG 21 | RPG 14 | BPG 1.4 Rashard Lewis 6'10" PPG 20.7 | RPG 4.8 | BPG 0.1  vs  Kendrick Perkins 6'10" PPG 6.4 | RPG 5.1 | BPG 2.1 Dwight Howard 6'11" PPG 21.9 | RPG 14.6 | BPG 2.6 The Magic like to score in the paint and it will be up to Perk and KG to defend the basket and keep them out on the perimeter. Perk doesn't play as well against quick and mobile centers like Howard and so will need some help from KG to defend against him. Keys to the GameLimit Turnovers. The Celtics committed 18 turnovers against the Heat and that is too many. We will need to take care of the basketball and limit our turnovers against the Magic because they will convert those turnovers to points. Defense The Celtics will need to play better defense against the Magic than they did against the Heat. They allowed the Heat to shoot 47% and allowed them to erase a 15 point lead. KG and Perk especially have to try to limit the damage that Howard does. Control the tempo. Rondo will need to try to control the tempo of the game and not allow the Magic to run. Limiting turnovers could help in this area as well. Game Notes: The Magic are coming off of a big 95-70 win over the Nets. They are a very strong team and have won 3 in a row and 8 out of 10 overall and have a lot of confidence coming into this game. The Celtics will need to bring their A game in order to beat the Magic in their arena. Dwight Howard has been a force and Rashard Lewis has been playing very well. This game will be a test for this team and could very well be our first loss if the Celtics play like they did against the Heat. |

If there was a team who could capitalize on our sketchy play and defeat us to give us our 1st loss of the season, the Magic may be the team to do it. They have won 4 of their last 5, and have beaten the Nets and the Cavs on the road during this stretch.
Dwight Howard has been a man possessed his last 5 games. He's been averaging 25 pts and 17 boards, along with 2.5 bpg. He's putting up seasonal numbers that rival KG's.
We are capable of humiliating any team in the league when we are firing on all cylinders (offensively and defensively), but right now, we are playing flat, timid, and full of mistakes.

The magic have a good young team and matchup with us well. This is going to be a tough game. If anyone can matchup with us in the east it's probably them, but we still have a better team and should win if we play our game.

Much better second half. KG in foul trouble though. The whole team is in foul trouble. Gotta play smart final 5 minutes.

damn c's with a chance to tie with 35 seconds left. They go for the win with a 3 by Allen who air balls it, rebounded by Garnett who passes to House for a wide open 3 and he misses. Garnett fouls out on the inbounds with 15 seconds left. Orlando makes both free throws. Down by 4 with 15 seconds left.
