When a guy like me lives so far away from Boston and the US it's hard to watch the Celtics games. A portuguese cable network broadcasts 6 NBA games a week but so far the only Celtics 07-08 game they've broadcasted was the first one, against the Wizards. I will have to wait until November 23rd to watch the next Celtics, the one against the Lakers. So, I publicly want to thank the "live" posts from FL in each game, 'cause you can't imagine how important they are for someone that bleeds green and can't watch the games on TV. Sometimes I have to be awake until 03:00am but it's a nice feeling to go to sleep after a Celts win! Thank you Loy.

You are most welcome global. I am just happy that the play by play helps you to enjoy the games. I remember when League Pass wasn't available in the area and I would have loved a play by play. I wasn't sure if anyone was reading them but knowing that you enjoy them, I will definitely continue to do them when I can.

Yeah thanks FL and thank you Global for recognizing FL's hard work. And FL, YOu get at least 6 people reading every game. I am usually on here, so I see who is watching.

FL, you were not sure anyone was reading them??? You bet I was!! All of them, except the Wizards one. And like Loyalist said, I sure wasn't the only one. I can't speak for them but I really admire your ability to type fast, with a clear language, and with a lot of info. about what's going on. Believe me, it's priceless! Again, thank you for your work.

I agree. Whenever I can't catch a game, I read the play-by-play to catch a flavor as to how the game transpired. Then what I see in the box score makes more sense.
So I'll join in the public thank you for FL!!

Thank you very much. It makes me feel very good that I can do something that helps fellow Celtics fans who can't watch the games. I am very fortunate that I can type pretty fast without looking at my fingers (Thank you Mr. Popick and 10th grade typing class) and I am also fortunate to have my computer directly in front of the TV I watch the games on. My grandson has also been cooperating by going to sleep before the start of the game so I can watch all of it. This is going to be an exciting season!!

What I have been doing is listening to the radio broadcast from NBA.com. It's free and is the next best thing. But this is more helpful at work since they won't let me listen to it. Thanks for the updates. I live in Okinawa, Japan so most games are on mid moring. (14 hours ahead of eastern time) Over here they just show the Cavs and Lakers.

It's not just the play by play, it's everything you do. Your effort is greatly appreciated and your Celtics fanhood is beyond reproach. Thanks for everything.

Thanks guys. I don't do anything that every other Celtics fan wouldn't do if they had the time. I have to say I really appreciate CG. The posters here are the best people in Celtics fandom.

FL, it is true. Your live play by play is a life saver for those who can't watch the games. I remember before the days of League Pass, I would be hitting the refresh button like every 10 seconds to read your play calling. You do a terrific job, and I don't know how you can watch the games and type it that quickly. I'd get too involved with the games that I'd forget to type.
Like the Greeniacs have said, thank you for all that you do for our Celtics family.

I'm sorry I haven't been contributing my live commentary like I did in the past. Work has forced me to miss some game time (actually a lot). I saw most of the 4th quarter last night so Mrs Q filled me in when I walked through my door. Tonight, I'll try to post a comment or two on how the C's are playing. Maybe I should be penalized kool-aid points.
