Q at the half - Saw about 5 minutes - Celtics look a lot better on the defensive end. I missed Pierces offensive explosion to open up the 2nd qtr.

Encouraging first half. I have to wait till I get home to watch the game, but I like the stats I'm seeing.
Our defensive FG% is excellent. We held them to 18 pts both quarters. This is a good offensive ballclub we are facing, and not to often will a defense hold them down to 36 first half points. An example of our defense is the 11 forced turnovers and our 5 first half steals. That's really nice.
At one point, we had a good lead on the boards, but we only lead them by 1 at the half. I would love to see us own the boards and be a top rebounding team.

90% of those shots were in flow or open looks. Not forced at all. Except that one Pierce 3.

I can't believe Rondo has 0 assists. I just realized Rondo rhymes with Hondo. Coincidence? I THINK NOT

Perk's contributions are going to be mostly defense. He is very important clogging the middle and contesting shots and setting picks. He won't be one of the top rebounders as he screens off the other team's rebounders for his teammates to grab them. Perk's contributions won't show up so much in the box score but will show up in the win/loss column

Well, we must remember, Rondo is kinda just running the ball up. After that its been 3 or more passes to setup the offense. So, he's not going to be a playmaker perse. He does have 6pts and 2 stls.

I agree on Perk. He is so valuable for that reason...... He doesn't have to put up stats... I honestly believe perk's presence is the single most underrated factor there is. Not just on this team. But just in general.

I agree CF00.... Just the fact that we lost every game Perk sat out in the preseason even when the big 3 played 40 minutes per game against a team we beat by 40 with Perk.... His defense is where it all starts

Ughh we are playing too much slow down halfcourt and getting swallowed up. Getting complacent. We need some explosion.
