Long time, no see

Hello Greeniacs!

Wow it has been a while since I last posted. I'm sure all of you missed me right?
Well, with the new season coming up in a month, I have decided to come back as a regular poster here at CG for good. This offseason was one of the best times of my life as a Celtics fan. I liked the Ray Allen trade, but my jaw litteraly dropped to the floor when my brother told me that the Celtics had aquired Kevin Garnett. I commend Danny Ainge for bringing in two all-stars like he said he would. Add those two to the other solid guys we got in the offseason (Posey, Pollard, House, not to mention bringing in Tom Thibodeau as an assistant) and this team is starting to shape up pretty damn good. This is gonna be our year, folks. It is going to be one hell of a season, and I am returning so I could be along for the ride with all of you. Although I probably won't be posting as often as FL or Derren, you can definately consider me a regular. GO CELTICS

Although I loved the way our offseason panned out, I have to give a shout out to Jefferson, Gerald, Delonte, and Gomes. I'm sorry I doubted Al and Gerald and I think they will end up being great NBA players, especially Jefferson. Gomes probably won't be on the level of those two, but he was still one of my favorite Celtics and will be a very solid player. I wish Delonte the best of luck in Seattle and I'm sad that he won't have a chance to be lifelong Celtic. I'm going to miss those four (Telfair, not so much).

Just to catch you up on myself, I am now a junior in high school. This is going to be a very tough school year, as I am taking two APs and will soon be taking the SATs. I am also beginning the college search process this year, with schools such as Brown University, Duke, and Georgetown on my mind (I will most definately be studying law and politics). I'm just loving life right now. I just need a girlfriend and I'll be golden.

I missed all of you and it feels good to be back!

VI, howdy. You will find the college process rewarding, as well as frustrating at times. As a college graduate, a college doesn't make oneself, however can create opportunities. Be realistic, as well as focused on what you want.

Well, Lil' Bro, its nice to have you back. We'll do our best to keep you on track with your homeworks, if you promise to post here frequently ;D

Yeah, this season should be a blast. I'm more optimistic about our bench right now, and think if 80% of the team clicks together, we could be hanging up a new banner in the Garden.

Yeah, I'm saddened by the loss of Jefferson, and think down the road, we'll all be missing him, but its hard to pass up the chance to have a really good shot a the title. With Garnett and RAllen combining strengths with Pierce, and the supporting cast we have in place, our time to win is right now.

Great to have you back! Yes, you have been missed. Good luck with your studies and college search. Both are important, but then, so are the Celtics LOL. Looking forward to your posts and hearing updates on your progress in school.
