Yeah, I remember that. If we draft and he turns out pretty good, we'll make sure you get some credit for finding him ;D
But I'm going to have to question you about that Bautista guy, whom you said looked good.

The only Batista looking really good right now is Dave Batista.

Stay clear of Channnig Frye. He has Tony Battie written all over him. I hear some fans wanting him, but frankly, I'm tired of skrawny Centers who can't be physical in the paint. I blame Battie and Blount for feeling this way ;D

Brandon Bass declared for the NBA. Because he already gave it a try last year, he's used up his eligibility card and now has no chance to return to LSU. I think this is a questionable move for Bass. At this point, he's not guaranteed to be a first round pick (though maybe he is, and that's why he's being so daring and making the jump). He should be staying at least another year to develop more.
I liked what I saw from Brandon Bass as a high school senior in the McDonald's game, and from what I saw from his this past year as a sophomore at LSU. He's got a very strong body and is athletic and mobile. He can pound the ball inside, or square up to the basket and shoot a midrange shot. He's also got the quickness to be a factor on the breaks. He's active on the boards, and he's more on the pro-active side, rather than being a re-active player.
I like him, but he's only 6'8". That's pretty short for a PF. He's not going to be used as a SF. So that leaves him on the short end of the stick.

Bass sounds like a Hunter type to me. He was listed 6'7.

Bass sounds like a Hunter type to me. He was listed 6'7. Yes, they are alike in some ways. Hunter is a bit stronger and built stockier, and Bass is quicker and a bit more athletic and explosive. And they are both Brandon ;D

I think Nate Robinson should be Dannys 40th pick. Unless he can be around at 50, then pick Bass.
