Celtics almost hired Larry Brown as assistent coach that's what I read in HoopsHype, but there's no more information for this case. I write when I read something new for this. But I can tell that if something of that is true I'll be very happy

This originally came from SI.com. Brown was 90% certain he would come to Boston before being talked out of it. Here is the link (it's also in the news section) sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/writers/ian_thomsen/09/21/brown.celtics/Personally I am happier with Thibodeau than I would have been with Brown. Brown wouldn't have been happy being the second banana and there would have been a lot of problems on the sidelines in my opinion. Thibodeau is exactly what we needed. A proven defensive guru.

He'll be coaching here next year if Doc, acts up.

If Doc flounders, Danny will be assuming the reigns.

I don't think Danny wants to coach again. I could see Thibodeau moving up before I could see Danny taking over.
