Thanks for the update on Loy's Place, FL, and sorry if I'm jumping the gun by posting this. But Tony is one of my favorite Celtics players, and I think this is encouraging news. Tony's recovery is going very well and there's a possibility that he participates in some preseason games. I'm sure Doc will take it very easy with TA and not rush him back. But just to hear that TA is already working out with the guys in Waltham brings a smile to my face. I was sort of skeptical of his return this season, but sounds like he's determined to get back on the court soon.
He says he's at about 70% (up from 65% from his previous interview a month ago). But I think he's just trying to hold back too much anticipation for his return. Training camp is just 3 weeks away, and preseason games are about a month away. There's no way Doc will play TA if he's not at 100%, and I find it crazy to think anyone can go from 70% to 100% in a months time. If Allen is participating in workouts with the guys, it sounds like he's beyond 70% ready.
