I would have loved to have seen it, but if he doesnt think he can do it, I respect his choice. Now maybe we give Allen Houston a call?

Yes, I have always tried to be optimistic, even through the real bad years (ML Carr). I try to over look all the pessimistic media and blogger's, I guess i'm a, the glass is half full person. I guess some pessimistic people, will never be happy, like the ones I see right now who, just saw their team sign the second best PF in the NBA, and the best 3pt shooter in the NBA, to go along with one of the best all around wings in the NBA, and all they can say is "our bench is to thin", "we cant win a championship with a second year PG" or "we only have a small window" and on and on. I think we "true" fan's have had enough negative thing's happen to this team for the last 20 years, to last us a lifetime. I think a little optimistic thinking would do us all a favor, instead of crying we don't have this or we don't have that, Look at what we do have now, that's a chance (with the talent we have) to compete with anyone in the NBA, for the next 5 years. When was the last time we fan's could say that? So yes birdie, I am very optimistic about this season and the next several to come. Why are you so pessimistic, when your team now has three of the top twenty players in the NBA. I think alot of it is so many people are unrealistic, I mean what do you expect? Do you really think we can fill out the bench with all stars? Do you think after signing Allen and KG, the Celtic's have alot of $ to throw around, get real. I know, let's sign a thug like R. Patterson, that is just what this team needs, when we are looking to form some early chemistry.

The formula in recent years for a championship is an inside presence, an outside presence, and role players. Not only does this team have the inside covered (KG), it has two outside players (P2, RA), and it has a bench that speciaizes in one skill or another.
