I think for Pierce, the trades have brought alot of the things he was trying to do, but couldn't do. He won't have to carry the load every night.

This is the best thing to have happened to Pierce in his career. By nature, Pierce isn't a leader--he's a guy who does his own thing (very well, I might add), and if people are following, fine. But its not really his forte to lead a team. Now that we have a true leader-type and a true motivator (Kevin Garnett), Pierce will have less pressure on him in that department, leaving him free to do what he does best--score.
I'm expecting to see a different Paul Pierce this season.

yeah, the change was needed the worst way for pp. good to see him energized as it's all good for him for other players and for the celtic nation

pierce is the kind of guy who leads by example imo. He's a class guy and a hard worker and one of the hardest nosed players i've ever seen. He just plays all out and is a great player. He's the truth.
