This is turning out to be a crazy summer for Celtics fans--and its not done yet. There's still the anxious waiting period as we wait to hear what becomes of Reggie Miller.
While we are waiting for the word, let's hear what the Greeniacs think of Reggie Miller possibly becoming our newest, oldest Celtic. Do you think its a good move, or would you veto this move?

why not? if someone could show me a FA swingman that would be a better fit for league minimum, I'd maybe change my tune. But until then, it's Miller Time.

ya know, this really is a toughie. Being a C's fan for more than a couple of decades, I have been bred to hate Reggie. That being said I would say maybe, the fact that we are extremely thin at point makes me say no. Find us a vet point now Danny!!!

I gave fresh koolaid on his comment, but we shouldn't wait around forever on this guy to make up his mind and I think he should have some sort of tryout too.

I wouldn't wait on Reggie. Fill out rest of the roster and let Miller compete with Manual for a roster spot.

umm no. He doesn't offer anything this team needs. we have 3 very good 3 point shooters in Paul, Ray and Eddie House (ok so he's streaky) we need a back up PG and another solid big man to back up PF and C (mostly C) we have enough swing players. Paul and Ray can take the clutch shots and so can KG I believe with less of a load for him to carry. Reggie should be the last ditch effort IMO to fill out the roster but there has to be a dozen better options than that... (I hope)

Not at the expense of a true back-up PG.

The biggest need of this team right now is a veteran PG to back up Rondo. At this point, Rondo is our only true point. We have shooting guards who can play the point in House and Allen, but they aren't the answer. If Rondo should go down for even a few games, we are in trouble. I have mixed feelings about Reggie. On the one hand, I have hated him for 18 years as a Pacer but on the other hand, he could help this team with his leadership and shooting off the bench. But not if it would cost us the chance to bring in a back up PG.
