Pollard is a decent defender, can rebound, and do all the intaglible things that are necessary to win. He's nothing special, but he gets the job done. We're not asking him to be hercules out there just give us a few solid minutes bang around on the low blocks, and be physical. The guy also has playoff experience another feather in his pocket. He was also paul pierce teammate at kansas. Considering what was left on the market it was a decent move.

He is a high energy player and Pierce probably recommended him to Danny Ainge. He'll do the job backing up Perkins. Good choice, Danny.

I like the way he takes a player away from the Cavs and adds it to us. I figure he can get up and down the court and since he's been a career backup is probably a youg 32. Also I figure he can play some pf if needed as well. Plus the price is right

What is there to understand about this move? Pollard is getting a vet. minimum to fill out a spot on the bench. If you were expecting Deke or PJ Brown in Cs uniform you better guess again. We aren't getting those guys for any less than 1/2 of the MLE or more.

Seems like a decent move tto me. Adds a veteran big at the 5. I'm comfortable with Davis and Powe backing up KG.

He doesn't excite me, but I'm hoping he can do an admirable job off the bench. The last thing we need is a player who doesn't pull his weight. On an 8-man rotation, every guy needs to be performing his role.
