Seems like there are a lot of good "role player" talent overseas. The better proven players overseas aren't going to be stars in the NBA, but they should be good role players, especially off the bench.
Hopefully Ainge is scouting over there, and seriously looking to bring the good ones over.

That guy just traded for Juan Carlos Navarro to team up with Pau Gasol. What we need to do is bring back Kedrick Brown, anyone remember that swat he had on Tim Duncan.

Yeah i guess Juan is gone.
Kedrick had athetic ability. I never understood why Kedrick sucked so bad. He just mentally never did anything.

That's it, CF. Kedrick never had the basketball IQ, nor the confidence.
I don't think Juan Carlos Navarro is the only candidate to make the jump to the NBA this season. There must be others who are good enough, who want to make the jump to the NBA.

A lot of the good Euros have huge buyout clauses. At the rate we're spending money, no way can we can afford to give money away.

It it can pay off big dividends. Anthony Parker is a good example. For years, he was one of the top players in Europe, and when he finally comes over, he does well--again, not a star caliber player, but a solid player who can help a teams' rotation.

Countless teams squandered lottery picks on the next "dirk." Skita, and Darko to name a few.

No, I'm not talking about drafting European or international players. I mean bringing over proven veteran talent from overseas--guys who have proven themselves over periods of time. We have a pretty good idea of a player's game once they've been established (though admittedly, it can still be somewhat of a gamble).
