We lost a lot of players this summer. Here's the list so far:
Delonte West Wally Szczerbiak Al Jefferson Gerald Green Ryan Gomes Sebastian Telfair Allan Ray
If you could bring one of these guys back, who do you think would be able to help us the most?

Al. He's the best player on that list by far.

Al Jefferson from a players point of view; Gomes from a professional point of view.

I'd take Al back because he's the best player. I'd take Gomes back more realistically though and he can help us as well.

I'd definitely take Jefferson back, without any question. Second on my list is Ryan Gomes.

I'd take Jefferson back. I'd also send the so called "big ticket" back in a heartbeat. Over the course of time, the celtics will lament this and the allen trade. But what the heck, kool-aid for everybody. We're back in the playoffs! At least the first round.

But, and I'm sure you're not surprised, I wildly disagree with what you said. In my humble opinion, trading a player of AlJeff's caliber is tough, but when you're getting a top 50 player back in return, you do it.

I would have to pick Big Al Jefferson, he was without a doubt the second best player in that trade. Al just has so much talent offensively, and if he works hard and becomes a solid defender, we might have traded a furture MVP. I would love to have Gomes back on the bench backing KG.

(1) Al (2) Gomes (3) West
Al for obvious reasons -- it would be like having McHale off the bench again Gomes because he can so reliably back up multiple positions (SF and PF). He could even back up Perk if we slid KG to the five for a brief spurt or two. West, because he would be the perfect combo guard behind Rondo and Allen
