People overrate the need of having a good bench. Quite frankly, the best bench to have is a bunch of veterans who knows what their role is. Besids, after Allen-Pierce-KG, we're talking at most 13 minutes per position. So, do we really need solid bench players who won't see more than 10 minutes a game? We need someone to give these guys a break when needed.

I'm far more concerned with the play of Rondo and Perk than any three players on the bench. The bench usually goes against the other team's bench. I have a ton of confidence in TA if he's healthy, which could take till December. I have a ton in Powe to do what he did last year only better. I have confidence in Big Baby to have a decent rookie year in the minutes given . I have confidence in Clifford Ray to coach em up. I have confidence in Scala to have his best year for us yet. The only guys I'm nervous about are House and Pruitt, but I think between the two of them one of them will have a useful, if not helpful year, and I have confidence in Rondo to play better than last year. Whatever his shooting percentage was last year, I think it will improve slightly and he will hit an occasional 3 as well. He just needs to keep them honest and he is balanced out by two of the best shooters around/ever (KG and Ray) and PP can shoot too. And so can Scala. I'm much more concerned about health. TA and Ray Allen and PP a little. And Perk.

The only other good player on the Bulls after the big 3 was Kukoc. Harper wsn't great. Longley wasn't. Wennington wasn't. Kerr was good for two 3s. They didn't draft anything good all those years. San Antonio has Bowen but I Francisco Elson? I'd probably take every bg man we have over him. Horry doesn't do much any more. Finley and Brent Barry are the guys. I don't know if we can get vet bandwagon guys looking for a ring like that. Mutumbo maybe. You don't need great players on the bench. But you do need solid veteran players who won't kill the lead when the star players sit.
