Got this from Eric Weiss of Draft Express
I would love to get Gomes back!! Keep your fingers crossed and say your prayers.
They were just saying on WEEI that there were cash considerations in the deal for Garnett and they were saying that it may have been to pay Hudson's contract to bring him here.... But that doesn't seem likely with the House signing. I wonder if it was to cover Gomes' contract. That would make more sense.

It sounds promising. I found it interesting that they made it a point during the press conference to compliment Ryan on what a great person he is. I think there is a good chance he's coming back. Now that we've signed House. Gomes and either PJ or Mutombo seems to be the next logical step to shore up the roster. It makes sense to me because Mchale and Ainge are better friends than people think and I wouldn't be surprised at all if they did this. Gomes also likes Boston and the New England area and is pretty much stationed here.

I'd like House back also. He would not really qualify as a big man as I think we need---someone to play the 5. And it could be that he gets passed by Davis at the 4. But he is proven role player.
Don't know anything about the 2 guys signed.

Yes, I hope Gomes comes back here. He's an exceptional player off the bench.

I have a hard time believing Minnesota will just cut Gomes. He's known league wide as a solid player and classy individual. I think this may have been an agreement between Ainge and McHale before the trade was done.

He participated in a T-Wolves photo shoot today. I dont see why theyd go through with that if he's just going to be cut.

Maybe Minn will cut him like Pitino did Rick Fox and David Wesley.

Maybe Minn will cut him like Pitino did Rick Fox and David Wesley. Classic Pitino as the GM stuff.
