www.hoopshype.com/salaries/boston.htmThis obviously doesn't take into account Garnett's extension, We are currently at 67 mil The cap is set at 55 mil.. I'm assuming Wyc has resigned to the fact that we are paying a luxury and I expect the C's to spend an additional 5 to 10 mil on whatever free agents they acquire. This is what we have to work with A. We still have the mid level to use. This can be split up or can be used on one player and basically equals the average salary which im guessing is about 5 mil B. We have the bi-annual exception to use which is 1.8 mil C. We also have a 1.08 trade exception, which is Delonte West's salary we got from the Allen trade D. We can also sign anyone to the vet minimum E. Pruett and Big Baby are still unsigned and I'm assuming they will both get 2nd round contracts. So basically we have about 8-10 mil to spend which we are paying a tax on regardless but it's there. Anyways considering our salaries are going to be around 75 mil and we will be paying a pretty hefty tax, Wyc deserves some credit for opening his wallet.

What's the tax threshold? Also KG's extension at 17mill per isn't that bad.
The money situation isn't that bad for a few reasons. For one thing we traded Theo. We also traded four players due for big raises and Bassy. We have also traded away Wally and a 1rst rounder (Jeff Green). Our salary was going to go up anyway.

Ainge hit a grand salami with the trade for KG!!!!!
Let the good times roll.
And Wyc better spend the money required for a vet Big man and a vet PG, this is an opportunity that mustn't be squandered.
